I can't understand why both teams kicked the ball away repeatedly while playing against the wind. Even at the 79th minute with a 7 pt deficit to make up. That's beyond me.

Great video. There was an England-AB game at Twickenham fairly recently (2013 IIRC) where it pissed down with rain in the second half.

We scored after 5-6 minutes of patient, controlled driving rugby. Brian Moore commented it was probably the best wet weather try he had seen.

England & Scotland used to be so good at this sort of play - not yesterday.

Not suggesting either England or Scotland could aspire to the standards of that 1996 game but yesterday’s weather was more than a bit of wind and rain. Truly atrocious.
