Season started way too early
Where are all the ABs? NZR is ruining the comp!
We will get monstered by the Giant Boks
NZ Rugby is in trouble -

The Stormers to win it all, theyโre unstoppable.
The Canes will get the spoon, of course.
The Sunwolves will make the Aussie teams look like they should be kicked out too.
Speaking Crucialesquely we will play like dogshit then beat the crusaders ,the reds and then be beaten like a rented mule at the next home game which will probably be a packed house.

Got a perfect round and should have put on a multi. Sunwolves were somehow paying $7.50 against the Rabble.
I think the Blues were better than I expected and the Chiefs were shit until Cruden and ALB came on.
Ashamed to say I didn't stay up for the Canes but happy I didn't.
I watched approximately 3 and a half minutes of Reds vs Brumbies. Seeing old "Dan" Kata at wing with acres of space around him, on defense should scare the absolute shit out of any brumbies fans.
Didn't watch any other games as it was hot as shit this weekend and being outside in the pool with a beer seemed infinitely better than inside on the couch. Even with the aircon blasting.

@nzzp get in line brah, canes will race you guys to the bottom. It'll be the only bloody thing we wil win this year ๐
We could be shit, and still finish third in the NZ comp this year. Oh, the randomness of sport.
THe loss on Friday was one of teh most gut-wrenching I've seen. So annoying to see the same mental problems coming out year after year. Leon's got a lot of work to do. I'll keep the faith, but goddamn it's hard to support them sometimes

Blues. Rieko still a cock celebrating too much and Akira is so fat and lazy that he couldn't even be bothered taking the field. Four new NZ stars identified, all of which were at some point discarded by the Blues. They really have knack for identifying shit-house first fives. The franchise where coaches' careers go to die.
Saders. Six half ass average players transformed to AB level. All of whom came from outside of Canterbury, with 5 being from the Auckland area.
Highlanders. Gutsy but not good enough.
Canes. Shit without BB and TJP unsuccessfully trying to win games by himself. Despite having some huge Polynesian forwards, inexplicably, they are somehow soft as shit.'
Chiefs. Gatland letting the hometown hicks off the leash and they won well because if you live in Hamilton, rugby is all you have to live for.

Ashamed to say I did, although TBF I had just arrived home from a BBQ/birthday/house warming party, and wasn't quite ready for sleep.

What kind of Queenslander are you that you don't have a TV by the pool?
Also, first week in Rieko scores two tries in a shit team and half the internet complains that he celebrates.

@Snowy everyone keeps laughing and pointing at the Highlanders and I really don't get it. We can certainly put out a better side than the Canes did and the Blues are cursed.
Highlanders to be there or thereabouts come finals time and provide 3-4 new ABs. Gaan Brownie!

Highlanders are the anti-Blues - classy halves but lacking a bit with the rest.
I think what you mean to say is Collins will be one of the form NZ fullbacks up to the international break.

The Canes have a made a habit of getting touched up early in the season and then coming right. That won't happen this year. We're toast without Beauden, going to be a long season alright.
