@Machpants Nah, all these departures are still relating to players who are playing somewhere else during the 2020 season.
I'd start a 2020 exodus thread for departures after the 2020 SR season.
so the 2019 thread will go for approx 20 months? makes perfect sense...
-
@mariner4life Nope. MLR is the only NH comp that hasn't started yet. It starts on 8 Feb, so probably no signings to be expected after that date. So only 3 and half weeks to go.
-
the first post in this thread is October 2018. The 2020 SR season will finish in what. July? That's 20-odd months
-
@Stargazer although some of these guys are still playing M10 Cup, so not really exiting?
I dont think Roberts-Te Nana is presently contracted to Northland, but he is one I think they were keen to have back.
-
@mariner4life You seem to have misunderstood my post. It's not about when a signing is announced but when the player is actually going to play somewhere else.
If tomorrow, someone like Ben Lam announces he has signed with Toulon for the 2020/2021 season, that's a perfect example of an exodus for the 2020 exodus thread.
-
@taniwharugby Someone can leave and return. We've always posted announcements in the exodus threads of players who were going to play a season in Japan (when it still overlapped M10 Cup) and returning for the following SR season. I don't see how this is any different.
-
look, i barely care, i don't even know who these people are, nor will i watch a second of american rugby
just make a 2020 thread for people signing in 2020, and stop trying to run the site
-
@mariner4life It's my thread, but I'll amend the title a bit.
-
that title is stupid, and long. you're stuffing up the site

Really looking forward to it, I'll be watching the Colorado Raptors, who do have a small NZ connection:
Michael Curry Flanker New Zealand
Michael Stewart Number 8 New Zealand
Sam Slade Number 8 New Zealand
Rene Ranger Centre New Zealand
Mason Emerson Fullback New Zealand -
could you start a specific thread for discussions about the competition please, this is for very specific players signing for a very specific time only

d? I remember that games used to be streamed on FB, but can't reme
I know they were putting them on their youtube
I found this on MLR website
"North American fans are enjoying more access to domestic professional rugby than ever before this year, with 22 games broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network and others available on ESPN+ and via teams’ regional broadcast deals. The Season 2 MLR Final will air on CBS network television."So not making it super easy, a bit of all over the place by the sounds of it.

If you ever wondered what would happen if Sheldon off the Big Bang theory became a rugby fan I think you have your answer.
