As if it were possible, Scotland's RWC gets worse.

Ouch! Does seem rather petty by WR, but I guess you reap what you sow. It's kinda funny...

Scottish Rugby has responded by saying "we will now reflect on this outcome and further consider all our options, which may include arbitration"
The fluffiest of bunnies.

How hard is it to just say - we got carried away emotionally / heat of the moment etc. and we apologize?
They're just looking worse as they keep digging.Scotland - Just stop already. You're not going to win here. Ask the SA Justice4 campaigners from a decade ago...

Made me laugh. If you make an ass of yourself it shouldn't really come as any surprise if it comes back and bites you on the ....well... ass.

Do these options include deciding not to be fluffybunnies?

So it might be semi official that Wales and England are joint de facto holders of the 2019 Webb Ellis Cup.

@Higgins Nah we are cos we beat them
But we lost to England in the semis and the Boks finished behind us in pool play so it did not have any effect on who we played in the playoffs.

Good point, don't like it tho!

This sort of suspicion just places an asterisk next to another of South Africa's RWC wins:
- 1995 - playing against a team suffering food poisoning. Still took extra time to complete.
- 2007 - Wayne Barnes.
- 2019 - steroid munching team.

@voodoo Yeah, there have been several reports in - particularly South African - media of doping in SA schoolboy rugby, the last few years. I've read a few of them. It's worrying, not just for the sport in SA, but also from a health perspective.
I've watched some of the games of the World Schools Festival for the last two years and some of these players were indeed HUGE compared to many of our players, which could not just be explained by a higher average age. It made me wonder ...
(Btw, the next edition of the WSF is from 24 to 28 March 2020; King's College will be one of the participating schools). Not sure whether it's happening across all schools, or whether it's mostly at specific, individual schools. I also don't know how common it is; don't remember seeing numbers.
