    England favourites surely.

Nope, Boks can match England’s forwards.

Boks will need to play a bit more rugby than they have been, though. They have so much more skill and talent than they’ve been willing to play with in this tournament. They will not beat England by simply box kicking / mauling / scrumming then off the part like they did today and against Japan.

Going to be an interesting match-up.

The Boks can play differently. Just haven't needed to to date.

    Fucking numb.

We had that match just where we wanted it and didn't have the ambition to go wide or the patience & precision to keep on trucking it up.

It was just a matter of time before Graces noticed SA transgressing.

Penalty in front of the sticks.

19-16 us ball kicked back to us. Tuck it up the jumper.

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK

Perhaps we should have taken a leaf out of England's book and ran at them

Wishful thinking expecting Graces to award a penalty there - you had 18+ phases on their try line where he ignored multiple transgressions, so there was little chance he would suddenly whistle something 40m and the winning of the match hanging on it.

Pollard had been kicking at 60% prior to this game.
    Here he landed 100%.
    It was that bloody close.

No that it matters one jot now, but where the fuck was TMO Ben Skeen for the Wales try?
During play, I had a strong suspicion Moriarty knocked on the ball trying to pick it up under pressure from the scrum.
From the replays I have seen, there is every possibility.

Whether he did or didn't, it was worth the TMO asking to look.

Marius Jonker did that in the previous semi and correctly had an England try disallowed.

If the Boks had lost, and IF Moriarty had knocked on, that would have been quite a non-call.

Fair enough but a shitload more was missed that was obvious to the naked eye in real time.

@Kirwan England were solid favourites at the TAB before this game.

Boks have a good coach and forward pack to blunt England’s strength. I’d put money on the Boks to win it.

Think England played their final against us.

If the Boks can control the pace of the game then definitely. If England's forwards can sustain the same dynamism they had in the SF then the Boks risk getting gassed, same as they did in the opening pool match against AB's.

    Yep.

Remarkable when you consider the drivel which comes out of SCW's mouth most of the time, and he's a WC winner ffs
