Anthony Watson getting in on the act:

"I was never too fazed by the whole mystique of the All Blacks. I respect the prolonged success they've had as a team, but the whole aura that surrounds them and the invincible stuff – I never bought into that.

Buying into it - Anthony needs to phone her cousin Wh'aura! (0800 -XXXXXX)

@Rapido It's fair to say I've never liked Mr Haskell's manner on or off the field. Not a fan.

He is cashing in after his playing career with a couple of old anecdotes so good luck to him, I guess.

You think he made money from those comments?

@jegga I think Haskell makes money from writing a column for the Daily Mail, yes. If not, he needs a new agent.

@jegga I thought it was a dull piece from a guy whose ego was always more than his ability. Serious chip on his sholuder that Wasps dumped him for Brad Shields. He has a go at Super 14, but when Haskell played for the Highlanders, he was mediocre.

Yeah, bench player most of the time, IIRC

it wouldnt be a test vs NH opposition if they didnt b!tch about the Haka or Cheating or Poaching or all 3.

    You missed:

    1. We own the Refs
    2. The Duck's penalty kick in 2011 didn't actually go over
    3. The 1987 RWC win is invalid as Sth Africa didn't play
    4. All AB tries come from forward passes

    1. Winning at home doesn't count, so NZ have really only won one World Cup, which is invalid anyway, because of [insert one or all of the usual gripes here]

(I did actually here this the other day from some Pom, who quickly moved on the conversation when I pointed out that this must mean that the ABs actually did win in 1995 after all...)

@Victor-Meldrew 3 is almost right though. Doesn’t invalidate that Cup but puts a big asterisk next to it.

Edit - for me it balances out 07. Reckon both teams likely still win their Bill but it is a real pity that we never got to see the old foes meet on those two comps.

Needs the appropriate facepalm caption really.

“ Because our country was deservedly an international pariah your rwc win has an asterisk next to it” ffs .

If we beat the Boks twice this time do we get credited two Bills?

Can't help you there... but question is, if the Boks and AB's play the final, and the Boks win, should we not have a tie-breaker match given the AB's have already beaten the Boks once at the RWC 🙂

It should come down to a count back on offloads.

Actually our last world cup final (cricket) tie breaker didn't end well...best to avoid them.
