Beale with the dumbest play of the WC to date.

    Fuck this. I'm out.

Think my predicted margin of a 15 point loss will stand

Ref's extremely relaxed on players holding the ball on the ground again. I bet that does a complete 180 for the next game

Not likely. Ref is right that the jackler has to have a good go at the ball.

I was at a semi-pro game recently where a ref blew 19 PKs for holding on (seriously). I spoke to the ref assessor afterwards and asked him what he thought. He said the ref was far too quick to blow the instant someone was over the ball. It ruined the game.

Sure but when he's actually dragging the tackled player around while both hold the ball I think it's swung a bit too far...

I don't think Aus are out of this. They're getting good quick ball reminiscent of Perth. Just haven't taken chances yet. But they might.

Garces has no idea how to " deal" with offside from a knock on. White touched the ball twice before Pocock played at it

Fuck supporting these dumb fluffybunnies every week. Seriously, why are they following up points by trying to run from their 22?

They just need to replace Beale, Bono and Genia.

Yeah, I don't think you should be encouraging players to drag opponents around by the balls...

They need to get Genia off - he's taking up all of his backline's time and space and giving the English defensive line plenty of time to get up and smash them back

Aussie tactics are letting them down.

They’re giving up points trying to run it from deep in their own territory.
