@MajorRage maybe Cheika is "keeping his powder dry" for the last 30 minutes?

p.s. keeping powder dry must be the most over-used phrase I keep seeing re this RWC...

Beale has been shit under high ball
Jordan very inexperienced at test level and in centre position. Trickiest decision making position given to the youngest guy for ever
Maybe not a problem cos Samu never passes
9 and 10 only played together once before
    Forwards look good tho

Interesting for me they choose to leave Ford on the bench. Bash n barge it is, then look to finish us off with pace.

Run at Farrell all day until the red card achievement is unlocked.

Maybe it'll be red for Kerevi fending him off. Who knows? #wheelofskeen

I reckon England have made a clear selection to get Kerevi running closer in towards the big boys and to protect the Ford-Farrell axis - early win for the Aussies forcing the Poms to change their team?

I reckon they'll be using Tuilagi against Lilo in much the same way, which was probably always their plan against us. Ford/Farrell against Wales.

Yes, but again it actually brings Tuilagi running one out closer to Pooper - I'm not sure this ploy will work so well for England than having him runa bit wider out

This made me laugh re: Ben Skeen (TMO for this game).

Holy smokes. That footage is just mad.
    The tip-tackle made me wince.

About 5 penalties and at least 3 cards I could count in that clip. And it is just 6 seconds long.

@Billy-Webb The funniest part is that most of the 'atrocities' are committed by the blue team but the red team gets penalised!

    It's actually the Boks.
    And yes:
3 Red Cards: 2 for the tip tackle, one for the punch by 13.
1 Yellow card: No. 12 for the shoulder charge from the side of the ruck.

Wales get penalized for holding on to the ball (I think).
Probably a yellow for one of the Welsh striking a Bok.

I wonder whether Barnes would have found a way to send just one player off.....

@Billy-Webb oh, I had wondered who they were, with a grainy picture and my PC on the night light setting their Jerseys looked kinda blue/grey .

    @antipodean nice work.
F#ck that was a dirty err.. robustly aggressive Bok team. Our modern opponents get off lightly.

Wait a second.... isn't the Welsh commentator saying "that's a great tackle" the guy who usually whines the loudest when Wales are hard done by?

    Times have changed.

Eddie Jones getting some good banter going

"You see those hills at the back of us? That's where all the samurais lived. Every time the samurais fought, one lived and one died," Jones said.

"It will be the same on Saturday; someone is going to live and someone is going to die.

"That's the excitement of the tournament. You get the best eight teams, all playing for their lives."

@KiwiMurph Eddie Jones taking utter crap. Everyt time a Samurai fought one died. Arse. And I really hope we don't have 23 murder/deaths/suicides x4 on the weekend.

He's getting some pathetic hyperbole going

@NTA that's a pretty good piece of work there. If an Aussie can't be fired up for the game after watching that, they're clearly not an Aussie 😉

For the record: I am backing the underdog Aussies in this one. Will take a BIG effort to win it, but I'll be shouting for your lads @NTA
