So anyway, if I'm buying coffee beans / ready ground from a supermarket, anybody know enough about it to recommend any brands? Don't "craft beer" it or anything, just brands it's possible to buy at my local New World.
At home I'm using Havana "Pacifica" at the mo, seems pretty good.

I just use the cheaper versions of those Nespresso capsules. Maybe I should ditch the Nespresso machine. Would probably drink less if I had to actually empty beans into the machine and wait.

Well they do roast their own but don't sell it so I never thought to ask. Will do now though.

Just made a long black, for science, took me 1:30, and it's not hard. Admitedly when you go all girly and put milky frothy gunk in, it takes longer

Some are really shit, but Lor is ok. As long as it's strong I really don't care too much.
Had Starbucks once and that was weak as piss. MacDonalds is surprisingly good.

One of the "does it all" machines is the way to go. Mine cost a mint but I've had it for nearly 20 years. Push coffee button, drink coffee.
