The Wallabies are set to unleash James O'Connor on the All Blacks from outside-centre, while Bernard Foley won't wear the No.10 jersey once again, with Christian Lealiifano in line to get his second chance in the playmaker hot seat.
Heard this on the radio. Never saw him as a 13. I presume he's been playing there with Sale?
I think he has been playing mostly 12 at Sale. I did see this mentioned in the aussie press
It’s understood that O’Connor will switch to inside centre, swapping with No.12 Samu Kerevi, when Australia has the ball throughout the game but will defend in the outside channel.
Australia really fucking likes to complicate things don't they?
You don't want the tail to wag the dog, they will probably only get more shite

And we obsess here over unsettled combinations!

The logical choice would be Jordan Petaia at 13 (unless he is still in recovery mode).

This is the first team naming I have looked forward to in ages. Especially around the centre pairing and back row.
I don't care who starts at 1st five and neither are fantastic
you've just upset the two most defensive fanbases. Batten down the hatches

what time is k/o for this one, NZT...I am off to Aus on Saturday so trying to work out these silly time zones things!
yeah yeah, I know google and shit, but thats why I come here...
edit: excellent, is in that article.
-
@Stargazer wow, so much to like about that team!!
-
On the strength of the desire of TSF to see that backrow and centre combination alone, the Wallabies are in for a torrid time of it.
-
3! 3 openside flankers ha ha ha
-

Scrum. About right and as predicted. But Ardie Savea is shoved the blindside to accommodate Kieran Read. Ardie Savea has been the better 8 so far in 2019. Angus T given the nod as beach tighthead ahead of Ofa T.
Backline more interesting and debatable. Love the look of the midfield. Hope Ben Smith still has the gas to excel on the Right Wing. Big opportunity for George Bridge off the bench. Not sure right now that Sevu Reece, Ennor, Jordie Barrett or SBW are going to RWC.
