@Victor-Meldrew also Beaudy kicking was great

@shark In the big games, I prefer Crotty and Goodhue, with ALB on the bench.
Yeah that's ok too.
-
Phew! Great defence from ABs. Good set piece on the whole.
Attack just worries me, we just don’t seem to be that threatening and need to play more direct, Argies looked better on attack with simple go forward, good lines and footwork with a few moves thrown in, similar to Ireland but difference in execution between two.
I just don’t remember forwards looking dangerous on attack, Ardie had some good runs but more from broken play than good structure.
Also our discipline!! We have always played on the edge under Hansen/Ted but teams are just better that 4/5 years ago and it hurts us. 2-3 jumping across in line out, 2-3 late hits blousy insane!!
Anyway win is a win. -

That was shit. I can't believe we went wide with 3 minutes to go and the ball on halfway. That's on Beauden Barrett who is meant to be an experienced player. Very poor from him.
Yeah, couldn't believe that shit. Kick for the corner and pin them in their 22 is what you would expect your no 10 to do.

His defence was bloody good as well. Try (and poss match)-saving tackle again.
-
@98blueandgold I think our attack was good, it was more skill/handling execution that let us down.
-
Can someone explain to me how the puma player that jumped in the air and deliberately knocked the ball down stayed on the field ..?,normally a Gardener fan, but I thought he totally disregarded what should have been a YC, also thought he let the Pumas get away with so much side entry stuff at ruck & maul ,continuously asking the Pumas to get back especially at maul but doing nothing about it..,on saying all that we could have taken the official out of the game by being a hell of a lot more accurate with strategies and discipline..
-
Considering we were missing Moody, Taylor, Franks, Whitelock, Romano, Barrett, Todd, Read, Hall, Mo’unga, Bridge, Crotty, Goodhue, Ennor (starting) and Havili, I thought we did okay under the circumstances.
-
@Steven-Harris Abs asked him to ref like that as practise for the merde French refs we'll get at RWC
-
@Machpants good explanation,I will take that..!
-
@ACT-Crusader Romano, Hall?
-
@Machpants disagree because these are the same issues we have been having against good structured D for a few years.
The drop balls are a result of pressure caused by D. We looked rushed rather than threatening. Happening too often. ABs are a tempo team and when teams slow us down it becomes a contest, Eng/Ire/SA having better players at exploiting than Argies. Just structure and issues are same -

@ACT-Crusader Romano, Hall?
Exactly. They would’ve made an important difference.
-
@ACT-Crusader Don’t think so. Romano has been off the pace for some time. Hall hasn’t yet made it and the two in front of him deserve their place.
-
@Steven-Harris Totally. Also usually a Gardner fan. That and a few missed ruck penalties. Still, better Gardner than Jackson.
