@Stargazer Can you please correct what appears to be an obvious mistake in the third named finalist for the player of the year award thanks?
I don't get it.
I guess he is our Reuben Thorne -

Result of today's game:
Blues U18 20 - 10 Hurricanes U18
Coping with underfoot conditions reminiscent of Test Match Rugby at Murrayfield and a high-penalty count, proved too challenging for a spirited Hurricanes Under 18 team, who were defeated by the Blues Under 18 side by 20 points to 10, at Owen Delaney Park in Taupo today. In a stop-start game played in windy and chilly conditions, the Blues took a 10 point to 3 lead into the half-time break. After 65 minutes the teams were locked at 10 all, but in the last 10 minutes the Blues scored a converted try and a penalty-kick (on the full-time whistle) to win the match. For the Hurricanes, Treyah Kingi-Taukamo (St. Kentigern's College) kicked a penalty and conversion, with the team's solitary try scored by full-back, Rodderick Solo (Scots College).

So with BB off, who do we have for 1st5's?
Will we be able to do any last minute recruiting, I don't think there is anyone available.
Does that leave us with F Smith and JGB?I will ask my religious mates to pray that there are!
