@SammyC pretty easy to find this place if you want to talk rugby...
Oh fuck off, I know plenty of true fans who couldnโt care less about looking for an online forum like this.
Your insinuation that heโs not a real fan because he didnโt search for this place earlier is just wrong.
True. Apparently itโs not cool to talk on the internet about sport to other blokes
-
@SammyC no you are missing the point, I'm not saying to be true fans you have to spend hours talking rugby online, but those who choose to do so, find ways to do so easily enough...he has come here clearly to wind people up, and only in the last month cos his 'team' is doing well.

Using TRโs logic, his 19,000 posts on here suggest heโs the worlds biggest and most knowledgeable rugby fan.

@SammyC now you can fuck off, pathetic statement, I have been posting since this sites inception, I am a rugby fan, end of.
Again, taking yourself far too seriously
Itโs an Internet forum, stop with the butthurt and embrace the banter. Iโve enjoyed this thread and hope He sticks around, fans from other countries add a lot of colour to this place.
-
@SammyC I have never claimed to be the most knowledgable person, nor that you need to be, I mean look at your fanboi liking your posts, christ, I wouldnt even claim to know more than him, despite the fact he watches fuck all and posts on here still.
I like the banter, I just dont like trolls...
-
@SammyC said in QF 3: Jaguares v Chiefs:
The guys not a true fan, because heโs only shown up on a virtually unknown NZ sports forum in the last month, when he should have known about this place years ago? Give me a break
Exactly. Unless you find this forum looking for answers after a disastrous World Cup exit you are no fan at all.
-
@SammyC please cease the lecturing about how we are supposed to think.
We can all play the fern differently.
There are many layers to these pub discussions and there's nothing wrong challenging shit talk.
There's also nothing more boring than having someone write nonsense, then hide behind mummy's "I was only joking, don't take yourself so seriously " apron strings.
The irony of you seriously telling people not to be so serious is obviously lost on you. Do we need to highlight the posts where you went all "serious "?
Let people post what they want

Iโm liking them cos theyโre amusing to me thatโs why.
You have to admit TR you do struggle a bit when the piss taking is directed back at you.

Point taken, and I do see the irony
Iโd just prefer that posters like the one in question and c4l stick around, they add colour to the place. Iโve really enjoyed reading the exchanges.

Haha
Folks are getting triggered with chat from a confident Jagaures fan with a dose of banter/trolling
Can I also declare my UNDYING support and fandom of the Jaguares from their 1st match in SR vs Cheetahs in 2016
-
@MN5 god damn, you got me good as always
Sometimes the banter some try gets a bit boring...but we have lost some great contributers for various reasons on here, spamming, trolling, over modding...happens all the time

"The team that defended the best tonight won, and that was Jaguares. I thought their defense was outstanding. We made more mistakes, and it was due to that pressure."
"They attacked the breakdown very well, we struggled to get any quick ball, and because of that their defense was set and they just kept coming at us."
"They thoroughly deserved the win, they came here to play. The style of rugby they played tonight I think it will bode very well for them, hopefully for the next 2 weeks."

So brumbies next and the. Crusaders. Can you beat both of them with your test team?

People could learn something about humility and sportsmanship from young Sammie.

@Jaguares4real Salty? Did you and c4l go to the same school? Pretty odd you think I'm upset....only thing that is slightly perturbing is I used to love following the hags, now we get one of their "supporters" on and it has kinda ruined it, at least the team seem humble and not braggadocious and deluded.
It was certainly an ugly win, at home and scraping past a team that supposedly shouldn't have even bothered turning up. Good luck beating the Brumbies....
I see you liked Jaguares when they were crap at winning games but were entertaining in throwing the ball around, offloading at will
& playing from anywhereYes I did, what's the issue with that? Should we only like teams if they win? Proving your class again.
Jaguares are NOT the Sunwolves who are mere cannon fodder full of 2nd rate Kiwis AUS Saffa & PI players becoming "Japanese"
Genius, I'm sure so many thought they were the sunwolves, thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure the "Japanese" appreciate it.
I sincerely apologise for Jaguares for being successful and celebrating it
I sincerely apologise for Jaguares honouring SANZAAR T & C;s & repatriating their players at great expense unlike a disgusting Barbarians side based in Singapore/Japan
I sincerely apologise for Jaguares providing best atmosphere of any Super Rugby ground
What?
And @SammyC i highly doubt it's j4l's first time here...bit weird we're not allowed to respond to trolling though, what was the correct response sorry?
