Who does TSF want to be the next AB coach?
-
No need for the appointment to be made until January or even early February. Personally I am glad they are taking their time and won't be bounced by the decisions other teams are making.
The interview to be All Blacks coach will be the toughest for any position in global sport with some of the finest Rugby minds in the world on the panel. We are looking for someone with the values, vision, drive and skills who can lead the most sucessful and iconic team in world sport forward for the next 4 to 12 years.
I think they know already that Razor and Foster will apply. Not fully convinced that Gatland and Schmidt won't apply either. I can't think of a better job in the world.

Tell me you didn’t type that with a straight face.

Much easier (and more lucrative) situation than coming back and trying to start at the bottom of the ABs setup or even back to Super Rugby. Never say never but I think the ABs have passed him by

Who cares? A sullen taciturn coach is yesterday’s man as far as nz rugby is concerned. You not only need to be able to coach you also have to be a bit likeable imo. Following the Mitchell debacle.

If Fozzie gets the gig I am fairly certain he will be in the AB set up in an elevated assistant role (Wayne Smith) by the 2021 EOYT at the latest.

Let's all be thankful that the lunatics running the RFU have extended Slap Head's contract and he's now supposed to be in the front running to take over from Eddie.

According to a sauce who knew Gatland at Wasps, Gatland is highly likely to be the Chiefs coach next year.
The Gatland/Chiefs story was here over three months ago. Sauce was spot on. I will buy my sauce a beer.

Scotty Stevenson reckons that Tony Brown would be part of an Ian Foster coaching team.
Ha ha ha, why stop there? Bring in Hammett to sort out the culture

Foster and Cooper working together ,
Hard to get excited about that rumor .

We may find out whether Mark Ella was correct and Mickey Mouse could coach the ABs to victory (not allowed to use muppet references anymore, so Mickey will do).
They are probably great guys but the record with super teams isn't.

@Snowy big difference between being a successful assistant and being the main man. I'm worried but lifting Bill in Japan should see me sufficiently anesthetized for a time
I just don't have that feeling that this is going to happen
