@Hooroo Calories break the fast, so it has to be black (no sugar or milk). Another tip is drink a lot of water, they stops some of the hunger pains. After two weeks you won't notice the time at all.
On the whole this is true but every now and again itβs a battle to get to 12.
and the problem with a desk job is that I clock watch from about 10:30!!
Same here, the busier I am at work the easier it is. I've never got so much done trying to forget I'm hungry. Been doing more housework too!

@MN5 Basically if you are starving, I just eat. It's not supposed to be torture
Another tip is to start at 12 hours, then add an hour per day to get up to 16. Less of a sharp shock to the system.
Well theres a big difference between legitimately starving and feeling like a big feed. I've always been in the latter category !

Do any of you train in the morning? Can't see how I'd ever last until 12. I've usually had 3 meals by then. Respect your willpower though and this thing seems to be having good results.
Depends if you count bedsports or not.....
-
@Rancid-Schnitzel dude your bloody day starts at 4am!! with that kind of start time plus the swimming and weights it's no wonder you've smashed multiple meals

@Hooroo ha ha us food lovers need to stick together bro!! Presume you are both using an app to track your fasts? I like the game aspect of it the reminders don't hurt either!
I've found with the fasting that I tend to eat a bit healthier. But even if I do have a sausage roll I don't beat myself up as I'm pretty much always in deficit in addition to the fasting. I know I'll try and do better on that front when I get to my target weight range.
No, I am not tracking through an app. What app do you recommend (iOS app)
-
@Paekakboyz said in The Future of Hooroo.:
@Hooroo I'm using 'Zero' on android, which was suggested by @kirwan. But I can see it's available on iOS too. Highly recommended!
Sweet! Just downloaded now

Yeah the fast probably isn't for me but I'm really intrigued. It appears to be the real deal rather than fad. There is so much misinformation and BS out there so it's cool when something hyped is actually legit. Will be interesting following this journey π

All I know is that after a big night of "bedsports" there's no way I can fast until lunch. But that probably isn't a major issue for the married gentlemen π

Funny you should mention that as I have just put my lunch together and was wondering if I had just been suckered into a fad. Kind of refreshing to hear good feedback from others results

Tbh I was highly sceptical of this thing, but too many people I know have done it and achieved good results for it to be dismissed as a fad. Also when @Paekakboyz and @MN5 speak I pay attention. My trust of them runs marrow deep. On most things anyway!
