Sharks vs Hurricanes

@Stargazer He was patting the shoulder area, but holding his wrist awkwardly too. Looked like he landed on the point of his shoulder in that last tackle
-
Aaagh BB don't get injured
-
Man this is a joke. Red Card? This is making me see red alright
What about the Shaorks player pulling Canes player jersey not allowing him to get to the ball carrier? -
@Jailbreak7 Nah, lazy from Fifita. Shoulder to the throat. Red is appropriate.
-
@Jailbreak7 What grates about this decision is the fact that the ref let plenty neck grabs by the Sharks go throughout the game only penalised one high tackle
-
Still, that was a cheap shot by Fifita. No need at all to drive up with the shoulder and if he had stayed down it would still have been close to a Farrell like shoulder tackle and marginal on whether he was committed..
Obviously a fair bit of goading going on all game by both teams and the end was luckily waived away. Coles and Ardie lucky it wasn’t a French ref. -
That was a tough, hard fought win even when the Sharks were being niggly mother f#@kers, cheats at times IMO.
Ardie was exceptional again and it was good to see Evans and Coles return. Much needed experience.
Onwards and upwards.

@Toddy hopefully only two so he's nice and fresh for the playoffs. Actually the best game I've seen Fifita play in a while. Was huge on D, but obviously reckless with that last hit.
Great to see him showing some mongrel. Isn't that what the AB selectors want in a potential blindside ?
-
Good on the Canes for taking points on offer by taking penalty kicks. One bad miss by Barrett which could be costly at a World Cup...
I’d love it if DuPreez was a kiwi. Shit, what a unit. Young too.
Goosen has a bit of Cory Jane about him right now, that was a really well taken try.
Fifita’s tackle deserved red. We want Mongrel in our 6, not shoulder charge stupidity.

Watched a replay of the game this afternoon, really impressed with the Canes firstly at set piece scrum I really thought they may struggle in that area, but more than held their own.
But the really eye opener was the Breakdown were I thought despite yielding plenty of size it could been a tough day at the office..led by Ardie Savea I thought the Canes were superb..
Great to see Ardie & Sam Cane in such awesome form..maybe having them on the field at the same time is the way to go..just saying
