Oh, if it were!
The good news for the ABs though is that if they walk up the road from Roppongi to Nogizaka, they could take one train out to Kashiwa.
Sneak out for the last train, party in RPG or Nishi Azabu all night, then catch the first train back before Shag gets out of bed. Perfect WC preparation.

World Cups are usually won by the team with the best 1-10 on the park with very solid team defence. But each World Cup winner has had at least one game-breaker.
1987 New Zealand: John Kirwan and John Gallagher
1991 Australia: David Campese.
1995 South Africa: Andre Joubert
1999 Australia: Stephen Larkham
2003 England: Jason Robinson
2007 South Africa: Bryan Habana
2011 New Zealand: Israel Dagg
2015 New Zealand: Nehe Milner Skudder, SBW and Beauden Barrett.2019: Rieko Ioane, Sevea, Barret's.

Maybe Izzy and CJ could go over and organise the tour?

He's in Ballers, starring alongside Dwayne Johnson. That's pretty up there in terms of stardom.
As an aside, I wonder how many other Dwayne Johnson's are dotted around Wainui/Upper Hutt?

Apparently the World Cup Committee hasn't been to Japan. It's not going to be an issue.

@antipodean Better safe than sorry!

If Shag decides to roll the dice and go with a few "bolters" at the WC, the choice at 10 is firming up somewhat. I think Black is slowly playing himself out of contention, whereas Ioane is playing himself into contention. Questionmarks still remain over Mitch Hunt's ability to control a game for 80, but seemingly not at the death when there are points on offer. An interesting conundrum.
The more I see of Ioane the more I like him, and his ability / confidence seems to be sharpening with every game. Here I disagree with Mauger. Shag, take a punt (literally) and include both Ioane's in the squad. Neither one will disappoint.
