I get that a coach will always have a favourite in their team but this Kata-strophe has to end. He's terrible. Also the ANZAC game should be rotated between Auckland and Melbourne.

Sadly not on form but for injury.

wait, shit! First casualty is Phil Gould, whose 5 year plan hasn't resulted in tangible on-field success in 8 years. Has fired some people though. And then re-hired them.
That guy is seriously overrated. His premierships were won by sides basically handed to him. His NSW teams were absolutely stacked but he still managed to get whitewashed by Fatty's rabble. And wtf has been going on with Penrith? Sack coach, sack successor, rehire originally sacked coach. His so-called genius is incredibly well hidden.

Someone pull a Nancy Kerrigan on him?

No Tuivasa-Sheck, no Green, no hope. Just get through this round.

Luke took a head knock and is undergoing HIA, the (almost) starless Warriors lead 8-4 at the half. Still plenty of time for us to stuff this up

Warriors lose by 1 point despite a valiant effort. We were totally stitched up, with the Storm holding our runners down in the play of the ball all night. Every time we do it we get pinged, including a storm player knocking the ball on in the play and they get a penalty in front to the the game. Totally got hosed, NRL is a mug's game where the warriors are concerned. Hiku was immense, as was Maumolo and Harris. Our 21 was everywhere on defence, an awesome effort from a team decimated by injuries. The effort really deserved more

First NRL game I've watched in years ... Some things never change:
- Commentators wanking lyrical about star players. They didn't stop wanking on about Cameron Smith regardless of anything
- The Warriors still don't seem to have "it" . Lots of unrequired low margin plays
- They still get stitched up by the officiating. The last penalty to give the Storm the shot, was a joke. Even the Cameron Smith fan club said it was controversial.
Controversial? No. It was bullshit.
-
Let's be honest - we all thought we would get dicked by 40 points.
Warriors robbed in an amazing effort but this team needs to add another playmaker in the next two weeks. Luke is having one too many head knocks and Blake Green is not going to be 100% this season either.

Ouch. I couldn't bring myself to watch so was keeping track of the score. Saw we edged them at halftime and was too scared to look at the result until this morning. We just don't know how to close out tight games, especially against the top drawer teams.
Haven't seen footage of the dodgy calls, but nothing surprises me with calls going against the Warriors. It feels like we cut ourselves then the refs come an squeeze some lemon juice into it!
Did hear a lot of credit going to our replacement centre on debut, dare we believe this could be the end for Kata??
