But it's like men buying their missus sexy lingerie in the hope they will look like a Victoria's Secret model when they put it on. Show the pics to Mrs Hooroo and she'll be getting out the credit card.
-

Now there is a sentence! (Lets talk around the undie conversation). Do all of the e-cigarettes use formaldehyde?
-

Underpants however, are a different matter. I have recently learned the pleasure of wearing Icebreaker Merino undies. Throw away your cotton forever and enjoy the soft encasement of your danglies in fine wool.

I am wearing my merino undies as I type. Both briefs and boxers for me. They used to have old season stock at the outlets for something reasonable, but when I was back last month, none of the outlets carried any underwear. Both Mrs DK & I were very disappointed.

When washing them, don't throw them in with your normal wash, as the detergents perish the wool. We (as in Mrs DK) does a separate Merino wash with a wool detergent.

Now back to my floral arranging
-

I find mine fit quite well and no floral arranging is necessary.
-

For breathable, nothing beats these for me - I get mine shipped from Japan as they are cheaper...

Nice. Is that NZD or USD? Looks cheap as chips compared to the Merino ones above

That price is USD. The Japan online store is especially cheap (it being the middle of winter there possibly). 990 yen - just over NZD $11. Domestic shipping only through (I have a forwarding service I use) http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/store/feature/uq/airism/men/

Their Aussie store is at $15 AUD http://www.uniqlo.com/au/store/men/collections/airism.html

On a related note, their Heattech ones are fantastically warm for winter - I prefer them to merino now
-

It's a classic, up there with sugar free gummy bears and the plutonium reviews. -

I got some plumbing work done today and the plumber couldn't locate my water toby. No, I'd never heard of it either.

The bloke who came around from the council and found it for us explained that the toby is the valve (what I would have called the stopcock) that is on the boundary by the road, and Irish tinkers used to call the road "the toby" in their secret language, so the valve took on that name. Pretty good etymological knowledge for a 20-something Maori guy from Hastings I thought, so him and his mate got a half-dozen for their troubles.
-

I've had a few run ins with leaking toby's, lots of fun working out where the council 'responsibility' ends and the householder picks up. Interesting to hear where the name came from though
-
