England lost that game more than Wales won it
Shit tactics in the second halfIt was beautiful.

This BBC interviewer is a fuckwit.
Fair point but....
I know it's easy to be gracious in defeat and hard to hide your disappointment when you lose, but fark me, Owen Farrell was so effing graceless in the post-match interview. Don't they do media training?
-
That's what Owen Farrell has been like since he was a teenager. To be fair to him though, can't be easy after losing a big test to give an interview straight away and not sound like a bit of a pissed off git.
-
One of these men is Welsh
-
Wales didn't really offer much, did they? England made 210 of 223 tackles - that's an incredible defensive performance. I think the amount of tackles just made England tired in the end. Even when Wales did score, they needed over 30 phases to do it and a very good take. England looked a lot more dangerous with ball in hand and their defence great. I'm still a lot more worried about them than the Welsh.
Wales showed an incredible amount of grit though. For the first 65 minutes I thought they had no chance of winning that.

Welsh half back absolutely taking the piss the whole game with playing the ball to the back of the ruck so it's in a perfect position. Which he does by using feet then hands, until it's half a metre out of the ruck, then places both hands on it for aaaaaages before picking up.
Got to stop. Ref's should start calling it out.
It was bloody bullshit. One time he actually moved the ball forward with his hands - should have been done for knock on.
There was another time Wales had no half back so their player actually pulled the ball back into the ruck. Vunipola I think came around but was penalised. Wales got rewarded for shit organisation.

Not sure I follow that logic. England appeared supremely dominant yet still couldn't beat a rather limited Welsh side? Not hugely worrying from my perspective.

We struggle when an opposition is tough to break down though. We don't score tries after 35 phases. Our players just aren't good enough to hold the ball that long. Barrett will do a silly grubber kick.
England's problem was that they just didn't get enough ball in the second half.
-
The patience and commitment Wales displayed for the duration of that 34-phase go-ahead try impressed the hell out of me. I was sure they were going to blow it. They proved me wrong.
-
I'm watching the Wales vs England match on Kayo which is the beIN feed. The commentators are the most one-eyed Englishmen I've heard outside of a pub. Either that or my sarcasm meter is broken.
E.g. "just shows you England have no weaknesses"
-
Really enjoyed that game, full credit to the Welsh team, a real solid victory against a very good side. Congrats on the winning streak and was good to see how emotional Gats got at the end. Make sure you watch the 1014 lads interview with Gatland, really shows his true personality and I for one look forward to having him back in NZ.
-
Simple brutal game. High kicks and one off runners getting pumped. There will be some sore bodies today.
Is it weird that I still thought England were the better side?

I wish we'd done a few 'silly grubber' kicks during the match.
The English were allowed to camp offside, and a few grubbers would have been far more successful than the shit box kicks we were putting up.

Did he mix up a red sock when washing his whites?

Escaped the yellow, will be interesting to see what comes of this
