@Derm-McCrum Two of the three tries were extremely soft. Some TMOs would have called Carberry's pass to Earls yards forward. But a win's a win, which is all that counts now.

Correct - a win for a somewhat reduced squad. Always look at the positives. ;).

Can't remember any 6N with so many tries from unbelievably dumb mistakes - some of them look bloody hilarious.

Good win by Ireland IMHO. Kept their heads in the second half. Sexton had another average game, though. Schmidt might have some worries there.

@Derm-McCrum yeah what pakman said, 2 of those tries involved some of the worst tackling you'll see by forwards in the perfect position to stop a back in tandem. Abhorrent. Scotland were shit, yet if they'd had one less shit moment they would have come close to winning.

Apparently 6n ref's have been told to firmly police the lineout gap.

Yeah I'm sure the offside line and mauls can be ignored. Gap is way more important.

Sexton took a lot late hits, missed one conversion and made the pass for Stockdale’s try before being taken off in 23rd minute for a HIA from a head stamp.

Don’t think he was that bad for his ‘cameo’ appearance.

@Derm-McCrum his pass for the try was hardly anything to shout about. He passed it inside on a nothing play to a winger who should have been running into 2 tacklers, but they chose to be soft and lazy.

Parisse is one helluva rugby player. You'd have to be as rugby dumb as mn5 to not appreciate it.

I prefer the term rugby evasive. Sleep is often more appealing than watching a bloke rack up his 102nd loss.

That doesn’t make him a poor rugby player, it might make make a poor selector of who he wants to play for though.

    I wouldn't go calling this a stamp

    Workmanlike from Wales.

Biggar does what Biggar does, hence the nature of the result.

England won't be shaking in their socks win, lose or draw against France.

Wales squad is better for this match.

Good 6N debut for Thomas Young.

    11 wins on the trot.

    Championship hopes still alive.
