But given that I was not offered the job of Bok head coach for reasons still unclear to me, I am going to have to work on the assumption that he knows best.
Did the same assumption apply to P Diddy and other previous coaches? Assistant coaches like Stick?
Never had to worry about P Diddy. Fourie du Preez pretty much ran the show during his tenure.
Stick: yup, same assumption applies I am a fan. Bit inexperienced when first thrust into the role, but loads of potential.

I forgot the old 'P-Diddy'. Best coach nickname on the Fern.

@crucial I thought it was P-Divvy?
I stand corrected. Of course.
This oldtimers takes a few coffees to combat in the morning.
Yeah - but P.Diddy works better. Can't believe it has taken us this long to come up with it.

When "Divvy" means total idiot in England I feel you may be wrong.

France new jerseys are cool. Boks should be wearing green.
Not a fan of the tricolour sleeve but glad to see the old school colour jersey with white shorts a nd red socks

Commentators had even given the game to France talking about what a great armistice day gesture it would be.Nek minute..credit to the Boks for showing composure.

Feel bad for France. Boks score in the 85th min to steal it at the death
The French wing just had to knock the ball in field and then run the ball out at the end. Hard to know how much time was left I guess. France put up a good fight but South Africa did look the better team.

Really? I thought France looked the best they’ve been in a while. Confrontational at the ruck, working hard in the middle of the field and not shirking the grunt.
Well done to the Boks though to get it at the death.

Agreed. France looked better than anything I recall recently. The Boks remain an enigma to me. Something good is definitely incubating, but just when you think it is going to come together they mix in sloppy and stupid play.
Elton Jantjes not finding the touchline from the penalty just before the hooter was an absolute shocker. Boks massively lucky, by a second or two to get an ongoing crack.
But then big ups to them for being composed and clinical to get the winning try.
As I said... a real enigma
