Didn't want the win to be decided on a call like that. TJ seemed to take an age to kick the ball. We will be accused of being favoured but England/ Itoje were really cynical on defence and were lucky not to get a yellow which balances out the disallowed try.
Just like we didn’t want that Lions test to be decided by a call like...
All that matters is 16-15 and if people want make accusations about calls or favouritism, let them.
I’ll just add them to the soundtrack along with the boos.

Cynical runs both ways. Look back at the amount of times that Itoje was tackled beyond the ruck.
Or the amount of times Itoje reached ocer to interfere with the player on the ruck / slow the ball down
Yep that too. Cynical runs both ways.
It doesn’t balance out a disallowed try (which was disallowed within the laws).

Sorry but you can’t start your run from the middle of the ruck. You have to start from the last man's feet, right? No try.

Well if he’s going to put his hands in at every ruck he attends he’s going to get cleaned out

To be fair if the roles were reversed I'm pretty sure AB fans would be focusing on the inability to kick a drop goal with all the running in the final 10 minutes - especially when they lost the ball out wide when Farrell went back in the pocket.
Certainly had an effect, but there is a huge difference between a controversial call in the 70th minute and 82nd.

Awesome impact from Crotty and Scott Barrett; both MOTM performances. Also good first half from Dmac (not so good in the second); Retallick and Whitelock good all game. BB a bit of a mixed bag. Both wings invisible. Squire & Savea good, but didn't shine.
Bollocks. Ardie my MOTM.

@akan004 said in England vs All Blacks:
Was there a reason why every time we set up a good rolling maul, Ardie would decide to detach from it with the ball?
Seems to be an AB tactic, they often try and end the maul when it's still going forward to profit from the momentum of a retreating opposition defensive line

If you’re attempting to justify cynical play for either side, you’ll be here all day.

Oh bollocks. I saw plenty of crap play from the ABs, but cynical? Nah. It’s just a clean out. They’re always on the limit but every team does it.

The trend continues though, in playing for all the marbles in a highly anticipated game between 2004-2015 the ABs always brought an immaculate performance. This cycle; they've either wilted or farted out something like this.
Not sure about that. I see a lot of similarities this year with 2014. Lots of different combinations, some very scratchy performances, some final minute dramas, in amongst some sublime footy and a few big wins.

Christian Cullen looks like he's still pissed.
It was pretty disgusting when he got dropped so fair enough
16 years and I'm still pissed off

Our lineout work was superb. First half we used Squire up the front to disrupt and he got at least one. Then Whitelock was used. Brilliant to move Retallick there in the 2nd 40.
When we made a half break and started supporting our ball carriers we looked really good.
