God Davey is such a flog. Walking off a field because of a sledge? After all you've dished up over the years, the time you decide to draw a line is... in a middle of a grade game against Wests?
I don't care if he graphically described having relations with your dead grandmother - you don't leave the fucking field. Put them to the sword then complain after the game if you have to.
Every time you want to feel even a shred of sympathy for him, he goes and does something like this that reminds you that, no, he really is just a phenomenal fucktard.
My favourite new descriptor! Flog!
I haven't heard/read that before
really? holy shit it's the absolute best! And perfect for Davey
And why do they insist on wheeling his rent-a-quote missus out to defend him all the time? Do they really think that helps his image in the public sphere?
I really don't understand what they are trying to do with his "image". Everyone knows he's a belligerent, floggy dwarf with a big mouth, there is years of evidence to support it. And you know what, if he scores hundreds for Australia, no one gives a fuck really. Let him be the best floggy belligerent dwarf he can be, who also averages 50 at almost a run a ball.
Oh, and that players pact is the fucking stupidest shit ever. Is this more or less binding than the assurances made in the wake of the Phil Hughes tragedy?
CA knows it, and the players know it. If you are winning, no one cares how many times you call the opposition fluffybunnies. Just don't lose a lot, that's what changes opinions.

Turn on the TV after returning from a bike ride and what do I discover.
Oz is playing South Africa in an ODI in Perth in a series I didn't even know was on.
It has just started and Steyn is bowling to Head. And second ball I watch Steyn gets him! And before the over is out he's got Short as well.
Happy days! I might not bother doing anything productive in the rest of the afternoon now.

Same, I was very happy to find the cricket once I got past the initial confusion of "I didn't know this series was on, and this doesn't look like the Gabba

It does not look like the WACA I remember either. Have they done some major refurbishments?
Are you serious?

Just in cases you didn't realise this is at the new Perth stadium
WA have been having orgasms over it for the last year or so. Replaces Subiaco for AFL and becomes there No.1 venue for white ball cricket.

Test series should be interesting, injuns seamers were really good in England this year and that's usually been the weakness in Aus
Aus always good at home on the world's most vanilla pitches though.
However, Kohli runs this team a bit differently.
Bold prediction, India 2-1 (I've been wrong before though)

You've been posting on here for years. Therefore this is a redundant comment.

@catogrande fucken decades nearly! You're still very very correct!

@siam the crowd noise coming through the TV is pretty amazing, and this is only Brisbane. Sydney and Melbourne will be bigger for the Indians.
Youre right, Crazy really, 3rd t20 in Sydney and probably more Indian supporters than Aussies. Certainly way louder
Should be a juicy talking point this tour

Australian Cricket is just eating itself!!
Michael Clarke is such a flog. Of course he doesn't think there was anything wrong with the way the Aussies played cricket, and they should focus on winning, not being liked. Which misses the mark by like Harmison's first ball of the ashes.
Simon Katich of course piled in, because he and Clarke are best of mates, along with Gerard Whately, who is a decent journalist.
Clarke didn't like it much, and called Whately a coward. This from the bloke who thinks threatening a #11 with a broken arm from someone else is tough. In a massive surprise, Matt Hayden thinks it should be alright to call people fluffybunnies from 1st slip.
Who wins out? The new public attitudes? or the guys who won a lot?
