Hansen on Luke Whitelock:
"He's a Whitelock, so they naturally are leaders."
honestly, that's up there with 'the Marsh boys have good lineage'

The only trait the Whitelocks share is looking a shitload older than their actual age.

Akira responds:
"Barack Obama had leadership abilities too but you didn't see him getting handed the All Blacks captaincy. Checkmate."
I don't think you've done a post on any other topic than Akira since the squad selection and you've done a lot of posts. I've don't recall seeing someone on TSF have such an obsessive whinge fest since davidav showed his love for Toeava.

Poster who is constantly defending Highlanders players accuses another poster of being repetitive.

Haha! Nice try. Where are all these constant posts? Are you talking about the ones where I'm defending Naholo and Smith from recent criticism?
I could say something equally as dumb to you like - are you another that is madly in love with Akira?
Being overseas for me has numbed me to the provincial bias so that's an idiot call.

That's the United Nations of a rugby squad. No Super Rugby players, unless they play Japanese league and SR?
yeah I wondered if any are super players or only play J-League (thats what its called isnt it?)

@kiwimurph said in Japan vs All Blacks:
@bones Hemopo, Luke Whitelock, Rob Thomson, Naholo. You're right...there's no connection there...
Say what? Where are these posts defending Naholo and Thomson? And what am I defending them from exactly? I know you're in love with Akira but there's no point making bullshit up.

Pot and kettle? How many times do NH teams send understrength teams down here, particularly for the 1st game, that I know is a scheduling issue, but looking at our schedule, this is the right way to do it.
If we had Aus. Japan, England, Ireland in a RWC, the Japanese test would see a much more inexperienced side trotted out, admittedly with a smaller squad size.
I'll admit to not knowing F.A about the Japanese side and it's strength (as in is it full strength) but ultimately, even this AB side should be able to account for any side the Japanese can send out, if they cant, then that will be rather embarrassing, but I think it will be ABs >20
Not sure what the issue is here. So it’s some journo at the Guardian being quoted, not any of the unions.
The NZ media has done similar when weakened England, Welsh, French etc squads were sent south.
Thankfully the media don’t speak for the teams where they reside

This is what this New Zealand game is all about, and we're lucky to have a fixture where young, keen as, fellas like this guy help keep a long held kiwi dream alive. Every fluffybunny on this site must've had that dream
Look at the determined delight this lad has and that he's getting a taste at keeping Laura to a standard she's become accustomed to, is only a good thing.
Go on LAD!
Have a barnstorming debut! I'll be watching out for you and the other young'uns

Are we certain that Aura has stayed in Japan for the week? How will this impact training in London or are the boys used to the dirty bitch going walkabout every now and then?
The official position is that the Aura is summoned by performing a Haka so providing the squad in London can refrain from performing one there (most when drunk and shirtless there on an OE cannot) then the Aura will remain in Japan from what management have told me.

That video doesn't seem to play - at least not for me.
Who were you talking about?
-
@machpants Yep. It's going to happen for me as well and I have similar skills. I also seriously doubt that you are unco given what you have done.
As for being an AB : "The odds are against us there, but we will go in anyway, I'm glad the Captain made the right decision." The pilot's name was George Zip.
