AB EOYT 2018

@bones Don't think there's a lot on Youtube - though he's a bit hard to google - you get a lot of questions, "Will Jordan do such and such?" etc!
Trainor confusion might make sense. Will stands out like a sore thumb as being pretty bloody good.
Bridge vs Jordan tonight should be interesting to watch. One that Jordan needs to win if Ta$man is to win, I think!

oooh i like Middle Eastbourne.
It is a troubled area. Diplomacy just doesn't seem to work. Sad really, some of the inhabitants have become refugees in the U.K.

It really is dire. The struggle is real when you decide to rebuild an unused wharf as you can't find anything else to spend the community money on.

@mariner4life I'll just finish that off for you:

Careful, that's South EB. You're almost back to the bus garages there, that's pretty much Pencarrow.
-
does that make upper hutt Syria? pretty close i reckon

About right. Welly would also be the "west bank" (sort of).

Ouch to both of you. There's always a better smart ass isn't there. Didn't think one would be from Ireland and the other from the Middle East (bourne).
Oh, and GFY's
Best ever! @MN5 is gonna be gutted he didn't think of that one.
I fucken am. That's fern gold right there.

CF snr says that was the way back in the day. You found out you had made or been dropped in real time
They used to announce the team in the sheds at Athletic Park after AB trials games with all the players - successful or not - present. On the radio.
Built character apparently.

@derm-mccrum said in AB EOYT 2018:
Agreed. The guy who made it was Welsh
Considering the worst-tackling No.10 in O'Gara's era was Wales' Stephen "Revolving Door" Jones, look likes a classic piece of Youtube fake news...

Some info from Japan:
The Bledisloe 3 test is far from a sell-out; still many tickets available.
The following players from the 51-man ABs squad will play for World XV in Friday night's match against Japan: Dillon Hunt, Jackson Hemopo and Nehe Milner-Skudder.
Other notable NZ players in that World XV squad are: Andy Ellis (c), Ma'a Nonu, Wyatt Crockett, and the side is coached by Robbie Deans and Scott Robertson.
There are also quite a few South Africans (Adriaan Strauss, Willie Britz, Harold Vorster, for example) and Australians (a.o. Sam Carter, Ben Alexander) in the team , as well as Leonardo Senotore (Argentina) and Tonga's Nili Latu.

Apparently Reece Hodge has broken his ankle. Rumours Folau will move to centre.

Haha oh shit not much point selecting wingers if the ball has to go through him.

Hooper plays most of his game on the wing anyway, so no loss
The funny thing is that Hooper would make a decent midfielder
-
@machpants said in AB EOYT 2018:
Yeah a lot of the Ozzies on the roar say the same thing. Wallabies best 7 is Pocock, tho he is a bit of a one trick pony
It’s a pretty decent trick though. The problem is the balance of the losse forward trio.
Aussie haven’t had a decently balanced loose forwards trio since Finegan, Smith and Kefu were doing their thing.

Not as much as Ardie would.
In fact Ardie would be head and shoulders better
