McKenzieSoooo happy to not see Harris in the team, but less than impressed that worlds best centre isn’t playing.
Predictable forward pack and a bit of rotation in the backs.

Should be more than adequate to put SA to the sword
ABs by 22-28

@gunner hopefully coltman can throw a line out. Goodhue was always going to be rested, they don't play young guys game after game anymore, unless they are wingers - which could be because winners hardly play proper stressful rugby, or they need to get the most games possible out of them as wingers have an early best before date, or both
-
I know they have protocols and will have access to good medical advice, but I'd of been tempted to give Crotty and Cane the rest of TRC off.
A little surprised SBW hasn't been slotted straight back in though, but Glad ALB gets a start.

Respectfully, this is classic Fern/Internet/Media naval gazing. I'm not having a pop at you - aimless speculation is what we're here for - but I'm OK with their call.
it's kind of: I know they have all the medical records and specialists giving us advice, but I think they are WRONG! It's a small step to THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU VACCINATE! WAKE UP SHEEPLE! YOUR GOVERNMENT IS LYING TO YOU!

He was sick on Tuesday and didn't train, I guess that is why

Grammar Nazi alert...but “I‘d have been tempted“
Don’t have a problem with Cane & Crotty playing myself.

I'm more in the fact that they are still learning the alot about Head Knocks and the long term effects of it, so appreciate they are only going with the known medical advice.
Granted if he is ok to play now, he is ok to play in 6 weeks, but I do still wonder if both these fellas need to have a look at thier technique, probably Cane more so.
-
@taniwharugby Yep. Does the TAB have odds for Crotty lasting the 1st half?
Hansen and co will be wanting Whitelock to play the full 80 mins.
-
@taniwharugby I get what you mean. I know the protocols and processes are rigorous, but you can't help but be concerned when our guys are getting a bunch of head knocks in a pretty short period of time.
Resting them for the remainder of the TRC would also pose a challenge further down the line in terms of match fitness etc for the overseas tour. Not to mention how they fit into the systems we're setting up for 2019. Then again you could argue that Cane and Crotty are longstanding ABs so getting up to speed on the park wouldn't be as hard for newer guys. And if Crotty/Goodhue is the way they are leaning for our starting midfield they've got their super rugby partnership to call on.
