@chris-b what the actual fuck does John Hart know about the midfield?

or the back 3 for that matter

he shouldn't have had to know anything about that. Any combination of Wilson, Cullen, Lomu, Osbourne and Tana should have murdered pretty much anyone

Pretty generous listing old mate Glen in amongst that bunch

get fucked Glen Osbourne was a fucking jet.

He sure was but the rest were all gods of the game.

    Tana is hugely over rated

As much as Osbourne is apparently underrated?

    pretty much

If it wasn't for a freakish Tongan, Glen Osbourne was our best player at the '95 World Cup

Kronfeld was great there too and Osbourne was pretty much gone by the next year cos Cullen was pretty decent.

I'm torn, agree with you on Osborne, the guy was class, but wonder if you took a knock on your head regarding Tana. Even Blues fans still rate him as a player.

Yeah - Harty had long booted him to touch.

The name M4L is missing is Frank Bunce! To quote John "the obvious centre...". 🙂

Wasn't Osbourne at the 99 world cup?

Bunce is a midfielder. Hart inherited him.

This argument is going around in circles, make your positions clear so i can berate you for idiocy more easily

You're right! He was at RWC99. He played against Italy in Huddersfield - how stupid of me to forget. 🙂

Frank Bunce wasn't, though, because Harty had sacked him for being late back from a flight to France - or something similar.

Shit you can't even do the 90's right. Osbourne was on the wing for the whole series in SA, that was kind of a big deal.
