Game of 3 halves: All Blacks v Canterbury v Otago
-
Some interesting selections in there, in particular Makene playing 1st 5.
-
Interesting to see Stefan Moir on the bench. The kid has a very good boot on him where he won many games for Brighton with it.
-
@bones No, and not livestreamed either. Really odd, they know people want to watch this. It's not even necessary to provide commentary. I'd already be happy with one camera angle, as long as there's someone operating the camera, who can zoom in and out and move it from left to right.
IIRC, last year there was some footage via the media (stuff?), so I'll keep eye on that, but not holding my breath.

You know the real reason why it’s not being televised....

@daffy-jaffy Lincoln uni lock. Great player , just a bit small to go further in my opinion. Check out the Justin Bieber lookalike at 9. Connor Collins tough little bugger

He's an annoying little prick when he's playing against your team.
Interesting to see Makene at 10, I mentioned in another thread he's been playing there for Lincoln and has looked pretty good from what I saw.

From the commentary on stuff:
Meanwhile, wing Nehe Milner-Skudder is down and receiving medical attention. Milner-Skudder is off, and the medical team are checking him over. Hard to tell if it's neck or shoulder. They're looking at his head. Jordie Barrett is on for him.
A few minutes later:
Good signs for Milner-Skudder. He's off his seat and has gone for a jog around AMI Stadium.
Good news. Milner Skudder is back on. Jordie Barrett makes his way back to the pine.

According to the Herald's commentary, Ioane was "awesome" at centre, and scored three tries. Matt Faddes is a real plodder though.
Just awesome? Or O for awesome?
