Hurricanes v Chiefs

Lose the game, win the fight

Some interesting revisionism kicking in here about Canes forward dominance in the first half. The Chiefs were somehow level with a few minutes left to go in the first half, and it sure as fuck wasn't the Chiefs backs who were playing well in the first half....
-
@no-quarter Yep it was. Hopefully he will be one of the players that will learn a lot and take that through to next season

Laumape
JTA
Evans
PerenaraIn that order, been great for the Canes tonight.
Laumape makes the odd silly decision but fark me he has some upside. Can be brutal.

@rapido gotta include jules imo
He's had solid Ralph-like game.
-
Boshier deserves that. But for that silly intercept.....
-
Well done chiefs. Enjoyed the game. Surprised you fellas didn't win but I think you know what positions you need to work on to be champions.
Canes, Canes, Canes. Hmmm. Crusaders next week due to the stupid Super Rules even though that Canes v Saders should be a final match.

Hilarious Chiefs lose by 1 point yet the game was over 10 minutes ago.
-
Never has the old adage been more apt
A miss (loss by 1 point) is as good as a mile
-
The reason I'm not biting my fingernails at this finish is beause the Canes opted for 3 on the 55th minute from a really fucking tough position with this wind.
Feels so strange, why do modern nz teams hate scoreboard pressure until it's finals time?
Beauden is the out-wide wind specialist.

Game was over once the Canes scored that final pen
