    @unite Yes. Though my understanding is moving forward there will be no more June breaks.

    Gives Australians opportunities to be in camp for weeks prior to inbound tests. Just what the game here needs.

    @tim what and what?

    The Hurricanes need all their good players on deck after embarrassing defeats to the Crusaders and Brumbies, but that will have to wait at least a week.

    @bones I have no clue how embedding works (I mean the coding), so don't know where that incorrect text (Brumbies) comes from, but in the article itself the text is correct (Highlanders). Odd.

    It means Stuff had it wrong and corrected it (the embed gets cached when its first generated)

    @tim Some - particularly ex-league - players will never learn how to tackle properly. I'd like this guy to disappear from rugby. He possibly ended Dagg's AB chances with that nasty coathanger, and may break someone's neck one day if he keeps on playing.

    James McOnie claimed on today's Short Ball podcast that the Chiefs have already filled their squad for 2019.

    @tim That's really nice to hear for guys who hoped to play for a Chiefs' contract during Mitre 10 Cup. I'm afraid it's not much different at other franchises. ๐Ÿ˜’

    @Tim

    Hell, I hope that is wrong. The Chiefs franchise has lost far too many players offshore in past couple of years. That certainly will not help. Funny that no signings have been announced...

    A big rumour doing the rounds in and around the Blues is that Akira Ioane and possibly his brother Reiko will be playing for the Hurricanes in 2019,I have received this information from a very credible source that I have received info from in the past.

    I am totally hoping for once this information is incorrect,but having spoken to someone else within the organisation,itโ€™s not that far off the mark.
