@billy-tell No. That would be arrogant 😇

It's the RFU because when they formed the union it was the only union, others that followed identified themselves by their locations be it county, country or province.

A simple vote at the AGM and it would become the ERFU. More chance of pigs flying I would think.

Still not sold on the Boks being "back". Lets see how they go against the Argies and the Wobs first.

Based on the Welsh series, SA will destroy Argentina

@mn5 No. It's the impression it gives. Youngs is a professional sportsman who would have had media training and knows media interaction and perception is critical. It was poor and that why he apologised - good for him.

Add in that the BBC is reporting that Marler and Mike Brown had an altercation with supporters and the impression being given is of a team of out of control bad losers.

Someone really needs to get a grip.

@mn5 I'd heard that while Brown is a cock on the field, he was a pretty decent bloke once the final whistle has gone.

Perhaps they were the same numb-nutted England "supporters" at Twickenham I've sat next to and sadly exist everywhere in other countries

What a woeful performance for the last 70 minutes. That was as bad as anything I've seen from England recently. The Saffers were just so much quicker in thought and deed and any time England looked like building some pressure some dick would do something stupid, petulant or clumsy and give RSA an out. De Klerk and Vermuelen very good again.

Something is very wrong in the England camp at the moment.

Oh and by the way it is the RFU.

    Romanian Football Union???

    Does not compute ...

@bones Dunno. Never met him. Mate of mine is a long-time Wasps member who has on a couple of occasions when Harlequins played them. Said he was a pretty decent bloke.

Initially it was the Rugby Football Union but over the years that has morphed into many things. Currently you appear to be correct.

There is a good case for the ERFU still.

@victor-meldrew mate the media are a bunch of snow flakes that can go and blow one. Youngs was pissed off, I don't blame him I would have been too, have some media arse say go speak to skysports they want a comment. They got one tough shit if they didn''t like it. He didnt feel like giving the stock standard PC media drivel.

Well the expression "he dropped the ball" regarding the Shields selection would be appropriate.

He should ask himself one question: how is his salary funded?

    It was rude and arrogant.

It's another part of his job he failed at on the weekend.
