18-12 to Mexico.
-
Chambers you fuck!
-
-
Ahhhhhhh crunching tackle Fat Man!
-
Tedesco is so good. Best player on the field.
And that's the game. Qld bossed the 2nd half but never looked like scoring.
-
Good win NSW well deserved.
Pretty even, difference Tedesco, Cook, and the attacking pattern. NSW also defended well, passive but didn't miss, and their slide just nullified Qlds out-the-back attack.
Origin needs to be played with pace through middle. Walters spent too much time with Bennett
-
Nice work. Managed the flat periods where the maroons cranked on the pressure. Tedesco! NSW def had gas. Inglis massive on D, not so much on attack. Kaufusi was really good too. Or is it Kafusi?

yea, Inglis was probably the 2nd best player on the park. Harsh on his attack, he bent the line, created a linebreak or two, and should have had more return off the back of it.
Fucking Chambers is my villain of the night. That drop. Missed tackles galore. That 3rd tackle kick when Qld completely opened them up. Fucking Chambers.
-
Yeah, fair call on Inglis. Probably felt that way as he was so good on D, and even when he did good stuff Chambers fucked it up
Man, I've been so Warriors focused in my NRL consumption this year I've fallen behind on who the fuck was in NSW. A host of young guys I knew fuck all about. But they went great guns. Qld missing the big 4 meant they lost a bit of aura, and the ability to force errors from the new guys.

It's been a big media spin, the Baby Blues. But that QLd team wasn't exactly swimming in experience either. Lots of guys in their 2nd season, or 3rd game. Huge changing of the guard in the rep teams.
Difference was, NSW was picked on form, while a few Qlders were picked despite being pretty ordinary at club level so far this year.

Watching the replay while drinking bourbon.
Rabs thinks the big crowd number is due to "Melbourne's lust for sport".
It says more about a league fan's willingness to travel tbh.
Appropriate
Nah mate. Sugarcane champagne or fuck off

Qld name pretty much the same side
Young Ponga gets Morgan's bench spot. Slater named, but must be seriously in doubt. Tim Glasby in as injury cover for Napa.
If they don't change the way they attack, then it won't matter anyway.

Why are they playing this game on a Sundee?
