Good weekend training wise. Youngest absolutely obsessed with skateboarding now, so I just take him to ramp and then jog or work. Nice jog on Saturday and then followed up on Sunday. Sunday went a bit to shit because after 3km I realised I'd lost my keys (I was doing push-ups and situps every Km) . Tracked back and forth and finally found them (or a kind Sumaritan found them) at precisely the same spot where I'd realised I lost them. Farking retard I am. Bloody lucky though. So turned into a 12km run which was pretty easy because I was only thinking about the keys.
The evening was something of a mindfuck. My eldest has been complaining that it's too much of a sausage fest at home (his exact words) and demanded I get a girlfriend. He downloaded Tinder on my phone then had a little photo session with me at the park (fark that was embarrassing). So that evening I was in a bizarre situation of sitting there with my two sons going through Tinder. Still does my head in. Eldest said he had to be there to ensure that no one catfished me. How does he know this stuff? Anyway it's all happening pretty quickly. I've never sent flurtatious texts in my entire life, yet last night I was doing it with 6 women at the same time. My youngest was pissed off because he reckoned I was cheating with the first one I messaged. Was impossible to sleep that night. As mentioned, a total mindfuck.
So, who knows what the future will bring. Still very skeptical about the whole thing and tbh one of these women seems to good to be true. The hardest part will be to get my kids to calm the fark down. Welcome to the 21st century.
Only 6?
Those are rookie numbers bro
I was looking for that meme hahahaha.

Tinder is a bit crap though. I mean it's all about a decent pic and a good blurb. Which is pretty much how things go down in the meat markets in the "real" world. I mean you even have to be pretty witty in your initial message.
-
Guess it depends what you're after I suppose. I find RSVP a lot better as far as finding decent women on average whereas Tinder is a bit hit and miss. Also more search functionality as to the kind of person you're after (pro-tip: removing left wing from the political preferences reduces your chances of meeting a hairy arm-pitted man-hating vegan pansexual by as much as 92%).

mine's a bitch magnet
"SOEM OF U BITCHES R FUCKED NOW."Yeah, I felt like a 90 year old in an old folks home with the TV remote.
With regards to Tinder, why do all the women under the age of 30 have that snap chat crap on them? You know, dogs ears and all that shit.

Blame the Kardashian's for that bro. Good luck on tinder, does your eldest know it's more of a hook up than relationship app? Well played young men!! Love their IT intervention 🖒👊

Trouble is trying not to mix the conversations up. Farking very nearly did.

you think that they think (or care) you are only chatting with them?

Not in the slightest. But it's a bit embarrassing if you go off on some weird tangent and it's obviously supposed to be for someone else.

@rancid-schnitzel i honestly can't even imagine.

Yep. You had dildo in mouth long before Tinder was even a thing right 😂?
But, it does make my head spin. I only hope it's worth it.

Been there did that. Not ideal. Trick is to always be pretty damn honest within reason.

I think my advantage is that I'm being totally honest and upfront from the get go. Widower, 2 sons, looking for serious partner. Like gym and exercising. That seems to have filtered out a shit load.

Monday: Got very little sleep for reasons stated above but decent leg day.
Tuesday: Nice shoulders day. Actually was on cloud 9. Had a coffee with a friend who I hadn't seen in 20 years and have a date this Saturday. And then the school called to say my eldest is suspended for 3 days for fighting. He'd been messaging a girl. Her "boyfriend" found out and him and his little gang started abusing him. My son told him repeatedly to leave him alone then gave him multiple warnings. He then snapped and smacked him one. He gets 3 days suspension, the other kid gets zero. While I tend to lose my shit on TSF, in this case I was as calm as a cucumber with the school trying to explain the extenuating circumstances (son had found some old pictures of his mum the night before and had been up half the night crying about it). The official report clearly says that he was getting abused and that he gave repeated warnings. Yet they wouldn't budge. Their "concession" was an internal suspension at school rather than him going home. Like that makes any difference. Still goes on his permanent record. I suggested a compromise: a week of detention and probation. No that was just impossible. Spoke to principal who was the biggest cnut I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. Have asked a lawyer buddy to take a look at this and am considering contacting the media. I've given the school an ultimatum that I will pursue other avenues of they don't get their heads out of their arses. Fark me sideways.

Any shirtless selfies on the tinder page bro?
Chicks love that.
My oldest is too afraid to retaliate for a similar reason to above. He got in trouble for smacking a kid who threatened my youngest on his first day of school. It's so tough for kids these days, my ex tells him to tell a teacher if theres trouble but she's obviously never been a boy at school. No one wants to be a nark but he also doesn't want to get in trouble for scrapping.....

This wasn't an isolated thing. This kid has form. As you say, he tells teachers, he cops it more because these little shits know they have immunity. They want to have a safe and tolerant school environment yet punish the kids who stand up to precisely the kids causing all the problems. It makes zero sense.

My sons wanted me to, but I'm looking for a partner not DTF. I'm consolidating right now. Have two dates lined up.
BTW for some weird reason I liked a 5 foot 2 Scottish crossfitter with two kids. She messaged me straight away. Your thoughts on that one?

I'd need to see photos. Preferably nudes. She's Scottish so she'll be batshit crazy.
Even for a woman.
