Laumape has to be odds on for the AB 12 jumper at this stage. He's playing accurate footy and he's a fucking wrecking ball.
It will be interesting to see where they'll go with the midfield. Crotty will be in if fit; the question is in which position and who will be the other midfielder.
I'd expect Crotty to be at 13 with Goodhue next in line. We're looking pretty strong in the midfield at the moment with ALB and Thompson there as well.
I don't think Thompson is even in consideration, because both Rieko and BFA can cover 13 as well.
Thats a bold call to say Rob Thomas isnt in consideration. Whens the last time BFA actually covered centre?
I don't think they'll bring in many new players. Lam might be an exception.

@dingo I'd go with Aumua....
Which I suspect worries all of us.
Really? Why's that? I'm not worried...

Chiefs player ran into his own man impeding defenders and Nutbrown... just wasn't watching?
That was hilarious. Chiefs made a few metres off the play too. Nutbrown is taking the piss.
-
Jordie's defence at fullback is greatly improved this season.
-
New drinking game. Scull everytime Nutbrown says "backwards, play on"

I'm worried, because - thus far - he has played very little Super Rugby and only one game for the ABs. I'd prefer a bit more experience at a higher level.

@bones That's probably the only thing he has on Lam.
He's not far off in terms of game breaking ability, I've been really impressed with Lam's decision making though, that will be a big factor for the selectors to consider.

For the third hooker?

Coles was considered not AB material for a long time, and then suddenly he was and then he became our first choice hooker very rapidly. Now he has been long term broken we all think about who is the replacement.
In general, hookers are battle hardened, not young fellas. Which is why RR comes into considerations.
