Christian Lloyd must be almost due to be wheeled out again and be awarded another contract, not to mention another like James Blackwell. Interesting to note Anthony Pettit moving from Johnsonville to MSP, got to be some hint there as well?
I thought Lloyd have given up altogether. Bad run of big injuries stopped any early career advancement. Unless I am getting him mixed up with someone else I think he was also studying at med school?
Only reference I can find on google is this in a stuff article"But Broadhurst isn't the only one. Prop John Schwalger and lock Christian Lloyd are other recent Hurricanes to be forced into retirement by chronic injuries."

Presumably injured, hasn't been sighted in any Hurricanes outfits that have fronted nor for Poneke in the Swindale Shield yet this season. Perhaps Jauzy is sitting on some news about an imminent departure?
Bit early for him to be leaving isn't it, he only played U20s last year. He was named in the Canes squad though right?

Yes. He got injured during the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup and had a shoulder reconstruction. That's the reason why he hasn't been playing yet, this year.

According to an announcement on the website of Mitsubishi Sagamihara Dynaboars, Jordan Taufua and Matt Vaega will both play for the club during the 2018-2019 season of the Top Challenge League.
Obviously, because he has re-signed with the Crusaders, this is only a short-term exodus for Taufua, although he might arrive a bit late for the 2019 SR season (as other Kiwis playing in Japan have done). I've no idea whether Vaega will return to NZ.

Who on earth is Tyrone what’s his name?
Is this thread for players of at least super rugby quality heading overseas or just anyone with a nz passport who at some stage in their life picked up a rugby ball??
-
@billy-tell An extremely rubbish 10. Thank fuck we won't see him in Auckland colours this year.

A first-five eighth wit a good boot, that's about it. Most recently played for Auckland in the Mitre 10 Cup, and before that for Hawke's Bay.
Why would this thread only be for SR players? Info about Mitre 10 Cup players is relevant to some of us as well.

Yeah I’m not being a nazi I don’t really care but we are scraping the barrel with some of the names posted here.

@billy-tell isn't this thread about players that are leaving NZ to take up contracts overseas? I'd prefer to see them all listed rather than have someone worry if Billy tell will know the player.
