Think back to the 2nd Lions test. It's a stupid law but the refs have no choice. I'd blame the passer.

I have to shake my head at some of the penalties in this game. I think the Blues will hold onto the win.

Yeah, I agree, just making the point that when you can rule something like Akiras action a penalty when nothing happened and no on was in danger yet flag away a point of the shoulder into the ribs (potentially a season wrecker) the game has got confused.
I'm not even saying it was a penalty. Ref should have warned Duffie to be careful though with his timing. Eg do it again and it shows a technique problem

Tupou has looked a lot better than Preston but i'm not sure whether thats Tupou playing well or that Preston was so bad.

Blues might have the lead but Chiefs with the second half wind will back themselves.

@crucial I'd suggest the technique was perfect. Had he been tackling someone who weighed +80kg, he would've wrapped his arms.
