@no-quarter and gone.
Done his job though, he was always going try and keep hitting.
Guptill... that was stupid. Just needed to build a partnership with Kane.
-
Reckon we should ditch Latham. Who else we got that can keep wicket?

This is the Black Collapse that we all know and love..
When it rains it pours...
Captain Kane still there to steady the ship...
-
I would replace Latham tbh

He has a strange record - dominates overseas but really struggles at home.
-
Kane! What are you doing! We can walk it home here in terms of RR, just didn't want to lose another wicket! Ugh...
-
WASP is pretty stupid. It's like watching the cricket with some dickhead that thinks he knows whose going to win but constantly re-evaluates every ball.
-
Pakistan give up to easily. Last chase they allowed us to win with singles to outfielders with only an over to spare. This game they gave up with 40 runs still to get. Why do they still have the field spread?
I know they're a slim hope but I'd be a bit annoyed if the BCs didn't fight to the very last ball.

With cdg back this is a pretty fucken great odi side

In saying that, they didn't bank on an innings like that from cult hero de Grandhomme! I thought we were up the creek when Kane went but he's just hit us home with ease.
Credit to Nicholls too, under pressure he's read the game well and kept his head. We were always going to get home provided we kept wickets in hand.

Virg was clearly being sarcastic in his previous post. The amount of wank from him all year on the BCs has been sensational!

Well, it’s been a while since we’ve had a real evenly matched topsy turvy game like that. It was really in the balance there after our top order collapse, and then when Kane got out when he did.
Munro’s wicket, we’ll thats going to happen with him.
Guptill’s was fucking dumb, just chipping to long on a couple of balls after Munro went.
CDG will deservedly get the accolades for his match winning knock, but equally important were Kane and Nicholls efforts. If one of them went early, we would have been right in the poo.
Nicholls I think has won me over with that knock, I’ve always been a bit of a doubter, but big ups to you lad. Equally as much of a match winning innings in my eyes.CDG showed us just how important he is though, to have someone in the lower middle order who can destroy an attack like that is a must have!
Latham needs runs, he’s got some of those young fullas breathing down his neck...

Jesus - de Grandhomme has some power. Hits the ball as hard as anyone in the game.
Wouldn't surprise me if he does pretty well in the IPL auction - he and Munro are both worth watching there.
Don't know how much credit Craig McMillan deserves, but we've developed some useful batsmen on his watch.
Agree on Tom Latham - it's hard to see quite what his role is with the bat - insurance if both Kane and Rossco fail? I'd tend to think we'd be better off pushing Nicholls up to five and playing a wicket keeper with a bit more power - which Blundell and Seifert both seem to have.
Only downside with that is that neither of our test openers will be playing much international cricket.
