Seta Tamanivalu set to join french club Bordeaux-Bègles according to Midi Olympique tomorrow.
I dunno anymore. Do we get upset about a Fijian ditching the Abs and essentially committing himself to a hard push in 7s if he wants to play international rugby again?

Hame Faiva is playing for Treviso.
The number of Kiwis playing (or coaching) in Italy is interesting.
Benetton Treviso is coached by Kiwi Kieran Crowley since 2016.
Former Auckland, Northland and Blues player Dean Budd has been playing there since 2012 and has played for Italy at least 6 times.
Jayden Hayward joined the team in 2014 and now also has 3 caps for Italy.
Nasi Manu, Whetu Douglas, Marty Banks, Hame Faiva and Monty Ioane all arrived at the club in 2017.James Tucker joined Zebre in 2017.

I was tearing up a bit but then I remembered his tackling attempt on Jonothan Davies.
Good riddance.

Saracens have announced the signing of scrum-half Nic Stirzaker on a three-month deal which keeps him at the club until March.
With Genia moving to Melbourne from the Reds, and Ruru being one of many Force players being signed, it's going to be a battle for game time at halfback. Unless he hopes to stay in Europe, this is not a smart move from Stirzaker if he wants to claim the 9 (or 21) jersey in Melbourne and has any ambitions to become a Wallaby. Maybe he's now thinking of an England or even Springbok jersey instead (he was born in England to South African parents) ?

I wouldn't be happy about this if I were a Scottish fan or a NZ fan.
Unlike.

Normally "Scottish-qualified" and "talent" is a misnomer.
Their team is on the improve though. I'm not worried - no Kiwi born in NZ but with Scottish heritage is going to choose Scotland over NZ unless he has no chance of pulling on a black jersey.

Midol reported yesterday that Jarrad Hoeata will join Montpellier as injury cover for Jacques du Plessis, who is out injured for the rest of the season. Although it has not yet been confirmed officially by Montpellier, Hoeata tweeted last night tha he had landed in Paris and had one more flight to go, so I assume Midol has got this one right.

@mn5 easy to say when you have no shot at either...
To be fair he was probably in with a shout for Scotland until a year or so ago.

MN5? Doubt he'd get a run for Scots College U14C team let alone Scotland

Nearly as many as the number of Irish...
O’Shea head coach Italy
Michael Bradley, head coach Zebre
Stephen Aboud - Development
Ian McKinley, flyhalf at Treviso and capped by O’Shea
Ciaran Gaffney at Zebre
Rory Parata at Zebre -

Not a lot of love for loose head props is there?
Jeez Rory McIlroy sure knows how to waste his money. The salary bill at Ulster is way out of line given the shit return on their investments recently.
