Jesse isn't playing for nz because of Jesse. Obviously he isn't willing to adapt his attitude or behaviour to play for the blackcaps.

Given his talent and the cricket life he's had I reckon good on him for living his life his way - he must've decided the shit wasn't worth the glamour.

Hesson said Bracewell will bat somewhere between 6 and 8. You would hope it's more likely 7 or 8, and interchangeable with Astle depending on the situation.

If Nicholls doesn't bat in the top 6 why select him?

We've been hearing about His batting potential for years now and he hasn't even scored as much as a 50 in any forms of the game.
