Haha mark Watson going off....after the wobbly loss he was demanding an apology now he says NZR is the most well resourced and poorly run organization in the world.
The joy of Mark Watson is that you can miss his show for six months... and when you tune back in the conversation is exactly where you left it...

Why can't the commentators say Ioane properly? Fed up with hearing eyeohniii
Because Euro commentators and pundits don't watch the SH game so their only experience is when Digby Ioane was on the massively on the radar for Australia in the 2011 RWC before he straightened out the pronunciation of his name.
Serious answer, not even being facetious.

@donsteppa ha yep I recall one nasty peice just before the 2015;RWC and he was going off at Hansen and Co and even how DC should do the right thing and retire to stop cock blocking the next group of players

The SBW PT probably highlighted where that rule is actually wrong.
I can understand its use in foul or dangerous play (although often refs still don't remove the offending player from the equation in thier decision not to award a PT) but in SBW he has done nothing at all to impede, affect or unintentionally hurt someone else, he just made a ridiculously dumb decision through lack of awareness of the rule (not that this is an excuse)
If there had been a contest in the air and SBW thought that was his only option, or he hit him in the air or blocked him, yep YC and PT all day...but in this instance while technically correct that guy would never have got a try but for a brain fart, which IMO doesn't fit the way that rule is written for.

They have to sort that scrum-half shit at the back of rucks. Lions were doing it too. Shouldn't be able to role the farking ball up and down like a toy until it's in your favourite position.
Agreed that shits me. Seems to be a Northern hemisphere thing that has creeped in. I don't know why the refs are completely ignoring it.
On a positive note BBs goal kicking was 100%. Really good to see.
Dmac was his usual self. Mixing good with headless rubbish. I know he is only there as a back ups back ups back up but he there so his game is going to be scrutinised.
I hope they don't blindly install him as the 3rd choice 10 next year. He should start the year on the same level as Mounga etc and have to prove he is up to it during Super rugby.
Maybe he should try and become the 9/10 hybrid that we haven't really had for a long time (Weepu the closest). Given TKB's spot will soon be open it might be a good option. -

"Just as they did last year, the All Blacks managed to cling on to victory in Paris in the most unconvincing manner."

Jon Preston from a way back was about the last who doubled as a first five and halfback at the highest level that I can recall.
Ruan Pienaar says gday
He probably meant AB's. I think Parra has switched between 9 and 10 more than Pienaar. Could be wrong though.

Hansen said Read's groin strain, and 48th-minute substitution, was "not a biggie" but made to avoid the risk of aggravating it more. Coles' situation is potentially more serious. "Dane is off to get a scan. It's a bit of a mystery. I'm not sure what's happened. Doc tested him and all the ligaments feel pretty stable. He felt his foot get caught in the turf, but we're not sure what he's done."
