My guess with Bran is, we see him as the guy who can fill in everybody's blanks, and help out. He however, has zero fucks to give about anybody really, so he probably doesn't even think to tell them anything, especially if it doesn't help the "bigger picture".
While the stuff down south makes for cool battles and a bit of scheming, i wish they would just make with the fire v ice fight already.

The hour’s title, “The Climb,” most obviously refers to the ascent of the Wall by Jon and the wildlings, but it also connects to Littlefinger’s monologue to fellow spymaster Varys, who finds Baelish sitting next to the Iron Throne admiring its many blades. Littlefinger reminds the Spider, “Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder,” which he plans to take every advantage of.

That was an incredibly deep puddle Jamie landed in. He'll be fine. The next episode will see Bronn pulling him out of the water downpuddle. Farked if I know where they are but given distances no longer mean anything they will probably meet up with Sandor and the Brotherhood. Was probably the intention 2 seasons back but the show runners had him return from the Riverlands after the fuckers didn't even give the Blackfish a screen death. Still not sure why they even bothered to send him up there.
Seems they're trying to make Dani a bad guy. She gets total proof that they're up against an army of white zombies that will wipe them all out if they don't do something , but only pledges aid if John bends the knee. Wtf?
They really don't know what to do with Littlefinger any more do they? The master schemer is like a loser at a party going from person to person hoping someone will like him. He even gives them free shit and they still tell him to fark off. The freak that was once Bran will probably divulge all the shit he's done.

I was surprised nobody of note died in that battle - very un-GOT like. Wonder if the writers are not as comfortable as Martin killing off main characters.
Loving it though, movie quality battles in a TV show is just awesome. The Dragons look genuinely bad-ass, and the fire incinerating everything in its path was evil as fuck.

Wow, what a couple of weeks for episodes 3 and 4.
Holy crap where to begin.
Two of the biggest most influential houses brought to an ignominious end in just 2 hours of viewing.
It was especially galling that house Tyrell went down so easily when they were known to have such a large and great army - which one assumes that Lady Olenna took with her when she fled Kings Landing.
After all, it was the Tyrell army that turned the tide at the Battle of Blackwater bay.
And so what, Bronn wanted to be rewarded with Highgarden yet Jamie insisted they just walk away from it... hmmmm? Only the single most important castle in the Southern part of Westeros.
I don't think that we have seen the last of Ellaria Sand as yet as well as Yarra Greyjoy. Certainly I think/hope Ellaria has a bigger part to play.
Sad to see crusty old Lady Olenna go out that way but at least she got to give some good shots of her own on Cersei.
As you said @Rancid-Schnitzel , some massive plot holes.
This whole thing just reeks of convenient holes in the plot to remove the minor characters so that it just leaves the mad chicks go at it one on one... Cersei V Dany (plus a little John Snow)
What a fantastic battle scene, best so far this season and those dragons, hell yeah!
Whilst I can understand all the man love for Bronn, and yes his character is still one of the best, that battle showed that he really isn't a great set battle fighter or strategist, but instead relies very heavily on "unconventional" tactics.
He wasn't able to really take on the Dothraki one on one so he resorted to that scorpion.
One assumption is, that it was Bronn who saved Jamie... but was it? The footage wasn't clear who actually saved him.
Second, who will save Jamie from the very deep water.
Yet another plot hole, amazing the water was so deep being so close to the edge of that small river.
The second quibble I have with that whole scene is that there is no way in hell a scorpion such as that is one-man-operable.
So 4 episodes in and the scoreboard reads
Cersei 2 v Dany 1But the wound inflicted by Dany to the Lannister army now even things up. Hard to tell if that was the bulk of the Lannister army but it sure looked like a good proportion. Now Dany has to take the other dragons and hunt down Euron's fleet and burn them like she did to the Masters in Slavers Bay.
So for Dany, she still has most of the Dothraki and now it should make it easier for the Unsullied to withdraw from Casterly Rock and meet up with the Dothraki, which means Dany has the biggest army in Westeros.
Is Jamie rescued by Tyrion or someone else loyal to her? If so, will Jamie now be Dany's hostage? Hostage swap anyone?

@RoninWC does seem too convenient for it to be Bronn that saves Jamie, but I suspect he will get saved tom the water and become a hostage, not sure Cersei would trade anyone for him though, too cold that one.
I think the water depth is probably exaggerated for dramatic effect.

I initially thought it was Dickon that saved Jamie, as he did earlier in the battle. I thought Tyrion was too far away to get there in time.
@RoninWC I assume another key point from that battle is that all of the gold they stole from the Tyrell's went up in Dragon smoke so they are now unable to pay their massive debt to the Iron bank, so won't have their backing/support anymore?

I watched the battle again. So brilliant. Bronn only ran from that Dothraki cos he was on horseback I reckon. he took a couple out en route to the Ballista.
Speaking of which I'm not sure the Dothraki are the super fighters that everyone makes out. Impossible to tell who woulda won if the Dragon hadn't shown up ( and obviously that happening turned it into a complete arse raping ).
I suspect it was Dickon ( hehe) who saved Jaime.
