Crusaders the best team in Nz , but I do wonder if their game style kinda suits the lions a bit , a bit closer to what they are used to

boot change for all Crusader players please. Its as if you haven't played on this surface before.

I know! Havili with loads of space and only Sexton to beat, hits the turf in fear.

good passage of defence there, Crusaders probably lucky there, could be a dozen more behind.

If they can string some phases together and hold onto the ball they shold be fine, but they are making things really hard for themselves at the moment

    @No-Quarter

I'm disappointed with some of the ref's calls, but the Crusaders are their second worst enemy (the Lions are playing well).

Fucking turnovers, no fucking lineout, and can't catch a kick off.

If they just hold the ball and sort out their set piece, they'll win this. If not, well played Lions.

Definitely Farrell at 10, although naturally I prefer Sextoon 🙂

Generally I will give ref benefit of the doubt but he is a bit ordinary this evening.

    Crusaders easily the better team

The Crusaders haven't handled the step up in pressure very well. They've been slow learners with the ref and made poor tactical decisions on top of uncharacteristic mistakes. Surprising to pass up those three points in the context of the match.

Ref is a pain in the arse but he's been a consistent pain in the arse. One team seems to have figured it out better than the other...

That attack had Howley written all over it.
    Shitter than shit.
Almost wanted the Crusaders to go the length of the field.

Forwards going well, but predictable. Faletau the exception.

Great to see Murray getting back to his best. Barring injury he and Farrell are 9 and 10.

Te'o and Davies working well together.

Watson is no fullback, so with Stuart 'Mr Glass' Hogg off, get Liam Williams to 15 and wrap Halfpenny in cotton wool.

You feel that at any moment the Crusaders can break this game open. The same can't be said for the Lions.

    Ref is terrible.

Lions are better but being kept in game by ridiculous scrum calls and very poor officiating of the offside line and at least one missed yc. Murray been good, really good kicking, certainly the best of them

Saders line out is very poor and just pushing the pass.

I wish the Saders had played like this against the Canes.

But, the ref is utter shit. Some bizarre decisions.

Yikes, Sir JK and Mehrts paying out on the ref isn't a great look.

Stats are much closer on pretty much everything (penalties and errors included) than it seems like.

French refs are going to fuck this whole tour. Just ridiculous that a guy like Nigel Owens isn't reffing the tests. I don't care where he is from.

Crusaders are screwed by the ref. What a fuckwitt!
Apart from the line-out, the Crusaders look better but with this ref, they're being penalised for things that shouldn't, and the Lions are not penalised for things that should be penalised. Arggh

@kiwiinmelb Crusaders are used to their tight five dominating, whereas the Blues are used to struggling a bit with that aspect.

@KiwiMurph Vastly superior. Blues have the best loose trio in the competition.

My nagging thought for the All Blacks is that I hate the idea of us going in with both an undercooked Kaino and Read. Especially given Read isn't going to play vs Samoa.
