I keep reading about Trump hurting the GOP and helping the Dems in terms of fundraising. It must be more fake news.
The Democratic National Committee reported its worst April of fundraising since 2009, according to Federal Election Commission records released Monday.
The DNC reported taking in $4.7 million last month. While this is an off-year for fundraising, the DNC hauled $8.5 million last year, and nearly $5 million in 2015. Between 2010 and 2014, the Democrats received anywhere from $6.3 million to $14.4 million per year.
However, the drop in donations coincides with an effort by DNC Chair Tom Perez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., to rally support for the party. The two traveled the country on a "unity tour."
The Republican National Committee's April numbers more than doubled its counterpart. The RNC reported raising $9.6 million in April and holding $41 million cash on hand. The DNC said it has $8.8 million on hand.

That article is intentionally bullshitting via omission.
The DNC is fund raising in general. But not that hard. The cash is going to individual races instead.
EG John Ossoff alone raised $9m. By himself.
Thats a record for Georgia. IE the Dems are raising record amounts at a race by race level. So you end up with situations like the recent Kansas race where no Dem has won in 20 years, Trump won by close to 30 points the the Republican in the race just won by 7. Thats a HUGE swing. Or where Ossoff is 1 point up in a runoff for a seat no Dem has ever won.
IE whoever wrote that article went -
GOP raised 9.6m in general pool + 25m race specific (35m)
Dem raise 5m in pool + 50m in race specific (55m)...Whats the story? Um... 9.6m v 5m? Yup, that flies, no one will actually look at this

This story is wild:
Greg Gianforte: Fox News team witnesses GOP House candidate 'body slam' reporter
During that conversation, another man — who we now know is Ben Jacobs of The Guardian — walked into the room with a voice recorder, put it up to Gianforte's face and began asking if he had a response to the newly released Congressional Budget Office report on the American Health Care Act. Gianforte told him he would get to him later. Jacobs persisted with his question. Gianforte told him to talk to his press guy, Shane Scanlon.
At that point, Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him. Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the reporter. As Gianforte moved on top of Jacobs, he began yelling something to the effect of, "I'm sick and tired of this!"
To be clear, at no point did any of us who witnessed this assault see Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte, who left the area after giving statements to local sheriff's deputies.
As for myself and my crew, we are cooperating with local authorities. Gianforte was given a citation for misdemeanor assault and will have to appear in court sometime before June 7.

While plenty of journalists deserve and are indeed asking for a good kicking, you just can't do that.
Must have been funny to watch though.

So violence in politics not ok?
Cool. Sounds good to me... now lets hope the media keeps to that standard. -

The Fox news report clearly said the Guardian reporter was not abusive & at no time even touched Gianforte, Gianforte then grabbed him by the throat & threw him to the ground repeatedly punching him. Then lied about it. Then got called out by Fox News.
This was an all round "well done" to all the media concerned & a huge ciminal lying fail to the GOP candidate.

That is about the most Presidential thing I've heard from Trump. Good speech IMO.
