Parsons left the field after an hour, but has the after match interview with his headgear still on. Why not have your bloody mouthguard in while you're at it? Very weird. Who gives a crap if he has mongo hair, he's a hooker ffs.

He came back on in the last minute.. Moulds went off injured

Yeah, but he does it after every game. It's either a sponsorship thing or he has something growing out of his head.

Or he has to be prepared to come back on for the other hooker, like today?

Cmon. Putting on headgear isnt like putting on armour. It's not a complicated procedure.

It is with that thing growing out of his head!

Maybe he has a BNZ tattoo on his head and doesn't want to offend SBW.

I just want to point out that Nathan Grey is an even more overrated coach than a player. He's the fucking defence coach for that team!

Very limited player, shit under pressure. Getting smashed by Tuitupou in 2003, after talking himself up all week, was his greatest moment.

@Tim Grey is also the defence coach for the Wallabies. Before this game he spoke to the commentators and said Tahs were going to rush in defense and smash blues behind the gainline. First half it was the other way around. He's always been lippy.

Yeah. But Grey is a World Cup winner, and went to school in Queensland, so he's likely to be a twat.

@NTA Something about lippy Tah 12s. Grey and Tom Carter. Tom Carter's lip was worse than Grey and he had an onfield game akin to Michael Collins.

We win an away game in Sydney, first since 2003, and we are talking about Parson's headgear?

    Who cares?

It's at least as worthy as going Irish on a good refereeing performance when your team won!

But he was born in the lesser state. That shit is irreversible. Going to school in Qld wasn't nearly enough to knock the cnut out of him. Probably associated with fellow dirty border jumpers at school anyway.

@Rancid-Schnitzel Never ceases to amaze me how many Kiwis become dyed-in-the-wool Banana Benders after some time here.

    Must be the sister-slamming 🤔

One of the journos said on twitter the crowd was 18k - expect that to be a season peak.

Only someone from the sick state would even think that. Keep your fantasies to yourself weirdo.

We embrace Qlders because we too know what it's like to have a bigger but retarded older brother 🙂

    The crowd looked tiny.

I was flicking between this and the packed out pacific league tests at sunny Campbeltown.

Campbelltown has a capacity of 20k so although it was packed out there probably wasn't that many more people.

That first half performance was the smartest I have seen out of the Blues. Played to their strengths in the forwards, had the Blues going backwards and with no possession then cleaned up when the opportunity arrived. Ioane boys were immense and that was a pretty complete game from Akira. He did everything in his core duties and more. A few will be happy too that there was no lip from him either. Great away win.

I think it's against the rules for us to play a complete game. I was really hoping for a bonus point win after that first half.

I'd never seen Leighton Price before, so during the game, I was thinking, who the hell is that random middle aged man in the 19 jersey? He looked about 45, and moved like it too.

@Dice Hopefully Tuipulotu will be back next week. Cowley-Tuioti looks like he could do with a rest.

I heard the commentator say Collins leads the Blues in assisted line breaks. Is that because he's good at putting people into space or because everyone else is to busy making their own line breaks to assist other people making them?

I dunno what's up with his selection when there's a weapon like Nanai on the bench. Maybe he has organisation and communication skills that we don't see?
