Seems a bit weird to have a blue home strip and a blue away strip - even if they are different shades. Surely they should have a red alternate strip or something similar.

They could go with the Harbour maroon.

hometown replays are a joke, yesterday it was the cheetahs, with only replays favorable to the local team being shown. Just now the tahs 1 or 2 got penalised for bending over and not supporting his body weight. I wasn't sure, since he's so short, perhaps he was standing up. Anyway, the local video techs replayed it at least 4 times, zooming in.

    Hometown call there.

Folau clearly held up and a maul created, but the ref calls tackle so the two Blues tacklers have to let go.

Tahs also getting away with reaching around the lineout jumper in the air and interfering with the ball. Surely putting your arms around a player to go at the ball is still playing the man in the air?

@Bones yea but I didn't see his knees anywhere near the ground until well after a maul should have been called.

Blues backs must think they're playing league, the whole backline has been well ahead of the kicker on 2 or 3 occasions.

This is getting ugly. Nice composed play for the whole 40 from the Blues

    Suffocating the Tahs.

Quick tap from yet another penalty in the 22, Scrafton over next to the posts right on half time.

Great rugby. The Waratahs look awful but the Blues playing very professional rugby.

That was a dumb penalty by Hooper

Gotta give a lot of credit to Pulu there. Nice work to avoid the forwards and find Francis.

It's weird, it's super wet and he's clearing the ball thee fastest I've seen all season from him.

@Rancid-Schnitzel I'm not getting carried away at 0-16, it is the Blues after all...

But I'll give you that, they are going well so far.

    Feeling happier now?

They're looking very good. It had to happen eventually.

Hard to remember a more dominant 40 minutes of rugby.

    Well done the Blues.

    'Tahs are crapola.

I can't have SBW as a lock for ABs 12. No passing game other than the offload and prone to turn the ball over in tackle.

Missed a few tackles too, clearly not fully up to speed yet. Let's see what he's like in a month.

Great sign at the end there with Blues forwards not wanting to stop.

@Rancid-Schnitzel yea comfortable enough to go to bed.

If I wake up to read about a Tahds comeback win I'll be bloody dark!

Surely the Blues (not Auckland you muppet, Kearns) can also put a decent 2nd half together?
