Haven't seen the Terminator series, I saw she plays Connor. Worth a watch just for that?
<br />
I actually think it's worth a watch just to watch. It started off slowly but seemed to be getting in to the swing of things when it was inevitably cancelled.<br />
<br />
I've just about given up on convincing the missus to watch season three and will watch it myself to get a feel for the whole series.
<br />
You've got 4 and 5 to watch as well - bastard, I wish I could have them to go! -

I enjoyed Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. She took the Sarah Connor character in a nice direction - still really strong, but not as nuts. As said - it was just starting to get good when it got cancelled. <br />
<br />
@Nepia - I really enjoyed the world created in Deadwood - huge ensemble cast, all of them strong - and the language/writing was really solid. I had to watch with sub-titles on at times - to actually understand some of the "English" - it was a definite challenge. But I think I liked that challenge. <br />
<br />
Cancelled after 3 seasons unfortunately. But kind of understandable - due to the production quality and scape - it must have been expensive.<br />

Did you ever try Carnivale? -

I really liked Deadwood, in particular Ian McShane, although the 3rd series was a bit average, but it makes a mockery when something that is still good gets canned, and they allowed them to make 25 series of Lost!!<br />
<br />
Think I might merge this with the TV Series thread. -
Have been re-watching the Larry Sanders Show. Really good TV comedy. Hank's Video was a classic episode.
<br />

I saw Iron Man 2 the other day and was thinking how good Gary Shandling was in it. Must get some of those old shows. -
Through the 1st 5 episodes of Game of Thrones, am enjoying it, alot of complex and detailed characters and sub plots, I dont think I feel I am missing anything (in regard to an earlier comment from someone about having their mate fill them in who had read the books?)<br />
<br />
Peter Dinklage is superb as Tyrion Lannister, plenty of other characters to love and hate too -
Just finished season one of Game of thrones..absolutely fantastic, now I'm torn between reading the books or waiting for the next season. Its been great not having read the books to be totally not expecting each twist and turn of the series, I think I might try and hold off on the books at least until the series starts to lose its lustre.

I folded, and started in on the books halfway through the season. Just finished the 3rd book, picking the 4th one up at the library tomorrow, and hope to knock it out before the 5th book gets released on July 12th. Then a 7 year wait until Martin writes the 6th book. -
October (I think) brings the return of "The Walking Dead"<br />

Admittedly that is awhile away. -
Just finishes Ep 7 of GoT, and was surprised with the ending, if somewhat a little disappointed, given what I think of Joffrey....<img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Just watched all three seasons of breaking bad and thought it was bloody brilliant. Pinkman is a wonderful character and I am glad that they kept him around for the entire show. I thought that they were going to get rid of him for a while towards the end of season 2. <br />
<br />
Glad that my wait isn't as long as what some of you fellow Ferners have had to endure for season 3. Only a few weeks now, hehehe. -
most anticipated show of the year for me is Breaking Bad S4....ended on a cliffhanger!
-
thought the final ep of GoT was a bit of a let down, for a season finale, coulda ended it after ep 9...

I agree, thought it was pretty meh really whereas last weeks finale would have been a great way to end the season - this ep would have made a decent setting up ep for S2.<br />
<br />
Even though I'm sure the actress who plays the Khaleesi is probably in her 20s she just seems so young - I kind of felt uncomfortable seeing her naked even though there is no reason I should (bloody society and its morale compass)!<br />
<br />
SPOILER ALERT (if anyone can tell me where to find the spoiler button I will hide this)<br />
<br />
I must say I was disappointed at the end with the appearance of the dragons - I thought they were going to remain as myths. While I'm still looking forward to the 2nd series I'm a wee bit apprehensive. <br />
<br />
Yes, I know it is based on fantasy books - but the first series fooled me into thinking that they wouldn't have any 'real' dragons. -
dont know that this software has the spoilerfunction??<br />

I kinda expected them to show at some point following the scene where Khaleesi realised she was the dragon, not her brother when she held the hot egg. what was in the final ep (naming of his son as the Northern King, the birth of the dragons, the Knights watch off beyond the wall) sets it nicely for the 2nd series, but as a season finale...
