Did you see Rog's interview after the match? It's little wonder he is so liked. A little bit funny, then effusive in his praise of his mate Nadal. They really want to play an Open final against each other one more time.
-
@mariner4life He's PR perfect ... alot of it though on the back of being such a fabulous sportsman to watch. I don't really care about tennis, but do find myself making a lot of effort to watch him play.

Seeing Roger in action both on and off the court just highlights what a class act he is and what a prize fuckstick Kyrgios is. Fed cracked the top 10 when he was 21 and won his first slam aged 22. He was treated like a God in his home country, yet incredibly and astonishingly, never felt the need to have "a bad day at work" or "entertain" us with a tanty.

@Rancid-Schnitzel I used to think Roger was naturally cool calm and collected until I watched a documentary on him a few years ago. In it Roger talked about when he first came on the scene how he had terrible problems with his temper. He realised his tantrums would stop him from being the best player he could be so he worked really hard to learn to control himself. I respected him even more after that.

Indeed. It is actually possible to be young and mature at the same time.

Rafa wins out in the end. Had to battle hard for it.
Federer will be the freshest going into the final.
Only saw bits and pieces of that game, but looked like a great match.
Dimitrov looked like he might have the weaponry to overpower Rafa, but that Spaniard is like a modern day Asterix in his "indomitableness".

How did Asterix get his strength?

Break a piece for the Williamseseses.
Was the Goat and Gemma on the base line?
Either Goat or Doppelganger in one if the replays of Serena breaking her racquet.
Serena at least seems to mean it. Not relaxed at all. One tennis bat down
One warning. -

Apparently yes, but it could be fake news or alternative facts:

No surprise at the result and Serena really does want to be the GOAT of tennis. She is probably there now.

Nadal with the early break in the 5th and now just hanging onto his serve the last few games. Fuck he's gritty, very few unforced errors.
-
And the break! She's all on now.
