The cameo by BM made Zombieland so much cooler. I too enjoyed Adventureland as well, even with the eternally pale Kristin Stewart in it. The Twilight movies have pretty much ruined her as an actress for me.
<br />
I was a bit meh with the cameo, it was funny, but by far movie defining to me - and then I was bemused by every critic/fan raving about it afterward.<br />
<br />
I don't watch Twilight so thought Stewart was pretty good and quite believable in Adventureland. And I don't find pale skin attractive in the slightest.<br />
<br />
However the other chick whose name escapes (somebody P I think) me at the moment was damn hot.

Hobo with a Shotgun. Recommended. Sometimes you just want some violence, some shotguns, some laffs, and some Rutger Fucking Hauer. <br />
<br />
Could have been about 5 to 10 mins shorter. Some decent ideas and some nifty synth tracks.

127 HOurs; pretty good film, good acting, well told, unsire how much writing licence there was, but wouldnt think there would be room for too much. Really brings in your desire to live, sitting in my comfy chair, dont think I'd be able to do it...<br />
<br />
World Invasion, Battlefield LA (or whatever it is called) solid action film, predictable.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1, much improved from Blood Prince (which bored me to sleep not once but twice!)<br />
<br />
Seems to have set up the finale very nicely. (although the constant ripping off of the Lord Of The Rings is obvious)<br />
You can appreciate how much the story has changed and evolved since the very beginning.<br />
<br />
Might have been better too if they were written by a bloke <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Arthur.<br />
<br />
Great movie - Russell Brand as Arthur the spoiled playboy. Perfect in my opinion for this role - and it's a funny movie all the way through. Took my kids to it as well - and they thought it was great. Helen Mirren is his nanny and she's also very good in it as well.

Saw Suckerpunch on friday, while alot of it was clearly aimed to appeal to the superficial male such as myself-and it did the actual story could have been really cool if they had of done a bit more more on it.I'm not complaining, five chicks in lingerie killing zombie german soldiers etc is enough to make me go out and purchase the dvd.

That director is making me pretty fucking nervous about what he's going to do to Superman. I suppose we a due a more visual representation considering the comic subject matter, and so far we've had pretty bland movies about his powers. But christ he likes his CGI doesn't he.

The red letter media guys hated Sucker Punch. <br />

Never liked Superman anyway though.

How many comics have made the step to movies well though?At xmas I noticed there was a straight to dvd movie of Jonah Hex.That was one of my favourite cartoons as a kid, I've got pretty low expectations about the film though.

Watched 'Just go with it' with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.<br />
<br />
As a Sandler fan I was happier to watch this than the usual Rom/com, all in all, had quite a few laughs in this movie, have been forced to sit through alot worse ones in the name of love <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Saw Fair Game a couple of weeks ago. Took a while to get going but enjoyed the middle and end. Didn't realise before I watched it that it was based on a true story. <br />
<br />
Last weekend I watched Never Let Me Go. Really good movie. On of the better I've seen in the last few months. A movie that the missus will really enjoy too.

Caught Limitless yesterday - pretty cool flick, one of those ones you walk out of the theatre still immersed in that "world". Recommend.

Watched "Paul" on sunday night. Really enjoyed it - Great comic rapport between Pegg and Frost. Rogan was a very good choice for Paul's voice too.

Megamind and Despicable Me, both pretty cool kids films.<br />
<br />
Sanctum, about some fellas that go cave diving, and then find themselves stuck and needing to find another way out, largely predictable, but wasn't too badly done with a no-name cast.

Agree. One of Sandler's more watchable flicks and one the missus liked. Some funny bits but overall 6.5/10.

Little Fockers; I liked it, plenty of silly laughs, some good cameos from Harvey Keitel and Jessica Alba, along with Owen Wilsons character.

Thor (3D) - thought this was pretty cool and I'd recommend it to watch. Not sure if it's the best 3D effects, seemed a bit average on that front but was a decent movie.

I watched Source Code over the weekend and loved it. It's no special effects extravaganza, just a really interesting sci-fi story. Jake Gyllenhall stars as a US military helicopter pilot involved in an operation to figure out who bombed a train bound for Chicago. The sci-fi part is that he has to review the last 8-minutes of memory of one of the dead passengers to figure out who did it. It starts off seeimg like a bizarre version of Groundhog Day but it really is unique and worth seeing. 8.5/10.

Yea, i thought it was cool as well. Nothing serious, just a good comic book movie. And i loved the 3D because it wasn't over done, more used to build depth in the picture, which has way more effect than shit flying at you every 3 seconds. <br />
<br />
This Avengers movie they are setting up had better be fucking cool.
