People.. including myself.. generally have no idea what local politicians stand for.

True. In Siggi's case, she's been bombarding the Letters to the Editor for years with this sort of stuff. It's seven years since I lived in the Tron but I remember her far too well...

Note: there are many places where this could apply. I have, judiciously, chosen to place it here.

    Smarty pants scientists.
That alone makes me want to throat punch the woman.

And FUCK STUFF for giving braindead fuckfaces a platform when they should instead be used for paint gun testing.

Also, it kills me when actual smart people don't vote. That is how happy clappy weirdos with shitty agendas get elected. With my voting papers I got a full page bio for each candidate outlining their background, quals, focus etc, so assumed each district did the same.

we got fuck all local body info. a pamphlet with a paragraph on each candidate which read like a dating website excerpt.
so i went to their websites to find out their policies. nothing. seriously nothing. they all talked themselves up and had cheap digs at other candidates, and the incumbents had bullshit slogans about stability and proven records, while the others had shitty catchphrases about change.
so i didn't vote, even though i wanted to and was prepared to spend time on making an informed decision. what a pack of fluffybunnies. fuck it made me angry. still does.

Listen to all of you, letting the liberal elite mainstream scientists tell you how to live your life. Well if you had made any effort to understand the average Hamiltonian maybe your preferred candidate would be in office. Instead you were to busy telling us how smart your "science" is and how dental care works.

The people have spoken so now you can all fuck off. And cry yourselves to sleep cuddling your tubes of tooth paste.

I think that is what we say now when shit like this happens.

My ma has a fucking horrible mouth of munchers, kids, all sweet as and I was the only one who had to have braces as my baby teeth wouldn't fuck off. She swears that's because of fluoride. That's science.

Of course being the paupers of Eastbourne I should've threatened Canefan to sort out orthodontist rates for me, if only TSF was there back then.

@Bones ah so @canefan is an orthodontist, sweet, my daughter is looking like needing braces.

I have shit teeth, well, they are straight is about all they got going for them, apparently it was due to some anti-biotic fluoride I had as a nipper, teeth are brittle as fuck.

    🙂

Its actually funny because both times I've been in NZ, I've managed to skirt it. Closest I ever got was Te Kowhai Road as we skirted the joint toward Waitomo.

Te Kowhai road? That's close enough. You'll need to be tested.

Jeezus I turned west off the M1 as soon as I saw the sign for Hamilton. Isn't that enough?

Because we're talking about Mooloo country.

Rest assured, were I talking about Canterbury, the sheep would have been top of the list.
